A Where are the Kerry Haters Now Thread
Well, I just found out where one of them is.

Remember TeresainPa? No, not OUR Teresa who lives in Pittsburgh. I am talking about mean and nasty TeresainPa. This will refresh your memory, in a beauty of a comment she gave to Karynnj on dkos:

nobody gives a shit (7+ / 3-)

about what you say he has done. We are talking specifically about what cash people have on hand right now.
Hey, I would be happy if he just gave Gore back the money Gore sent him in 2004 from his 2000 war chest leftovers (millions). I am sure Gore would put it to good use donating it to the DNC and environmental candidates around the country.

One time, Sen. Kerry answered one of her questions. This was how she paid him back, piling on with the heyjohn.org fiasco -- IMO a dark alliance (which has since fractured, thankfully) between the Clintonistas and some A List liberal bloggers. Remember this thread, for which I just grabbed that comment?

Here is another one, in case anyone thought it was a fluke:

ha ha (4+ / 1-)

yes you found me out. I am a freeper with a uid of 11423, but at least I don't get botox injections while running for President.... as if no one would notice...lol

I haven't seen her on Kos since 2007. Well, I just found her .... on MYDD. A Hil Shill she is:

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/5/7/15326/28556/430/511139

she can win WV (none / 0)

against McCain. No doubt about it. She is almost the perfect democratic candidate for that state. She can also win Arkansas.

NC, a victory for the politics of division.

(Look at her quote. WTF??)

Look at her blog (add http://)

typicalpawhitewoman.blogspot.com/

She is from Scranton, and goes on and on about how the Clintons are accused by Obama as racists. Then she goes on and on about how Scranton isn't racist. Yeah, right, Teresa:

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0408/9761.html

And consider this little nugget from Monday’s Washington Post, in a story by Kevin Merida and Jose Antonio Vargas datelined Scranton, Pa.:

“Barack Obama’s campaign opened a downtown office here on March 15, just in time for the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade. It was not a glorious day for Team Obama. Some of the green signs the campaign had trucked in by the thousands were burned during the parade, and campaign volunteers — white volunteers — were greeted with racial slurs.”

Now, my point is not to accuse this person of racism, although she may as well be Geraldine Ferraro, with the filthy posts she has up there. But just to show that she is a total, total hater, who NEVER supported Kerry, calling herself ABB. And the hate doesn't stop with Kerry. Hate to say it, but this is part of our party. And she has been part of the problem. The mean spiritedness is just beyond ridiculous. And clearly, a lot of Kerry haters were prone to jump on the Hillary Clinton bus the entire time.

1. yeah, that last sentence..

On NPR last night, I think "On Point" with Tom Ashbrook, there was an interchange about HRC and Obama, with Congresswoman (and HRC supporter) Stephanie Tubbs-Jones saying (or worse, implying ) slanderous statements about Obama's readiness to be Commander-in-Chief, and an exceptionally rude HRC supporter, calling in, interrupting Joe Andrew and others, and with a giant chip on her shoulder, acting rude all around. I thought to myself, "Typical! There really is a correlation here: all the people I like best among the Dems are on Obama's side; and there is a big chunk of especially rude or mean-spirited folks on the Clinton side." (Not perfect correlation, you understand; there are plenty of annoying Obama supporters, and I have also met a good number of kind,well-meaning Clinton supporters, too.But there is something about Obama that does truly seem to attract a lot of good people, and that brings out the best in people. .)

2. Wow , nice find
I had never figured her out - suspecting very incorrectly that she could be a Dean person who hated Kerry because he beat him - but she really is someone who likely was never winnable. I remember that Kerry answered one of her questions - how could he not? But their couldn't be a person more unlike his dear Teresa.

I too see that the people I like most drifted to Obama - though I really like most of the Biden supporters as well.

3. Don't be surprised when I say this - Clinton supporters dogged Kerry ALWAYS because they saw

him as her biggest threat in a primary. She also had thugs in the senate working to keep Kerry's efforts from gaining traction - like when she and Schumer tried to talk other senators from joining Kerry's filibuster of Alito.

All the planted snark from mainstream media had McAuliffe, Carville, Begala and other Clinton thug stenches all over it.

I didn't label her Tonya Harding for nothing.

4. I agree, she saw Kerry as a powerful threat, but while she was preoccupied with Kerry
Obama blindsided her. I think she never though Obama would be such a challenge to her candidacy.

for so long.

6. How do you explain the haters, who previously were not alligned with Clinton:
With further research, I believe TeresainPa was a Deaniac:

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/4/7/103611/2489

And a former anti-DLCer and anti-Bob Casey:

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/8/11/115236/506

Basically, this is not some kind of conspiracy. This is someone who doesn't know what the hell she believes in from year to year. And is now in bed with the branch of the party she supposedly despised. Funny that Obama's supporters are accused of being cultists. I think if a former Deaniac is supporting Hillary, then that is the definition of cult of personality. Nothing else explains it. That & feminism, which was why she went against Casey.

7. Of course, there are always just nasty, uninformed folks, but, I believe many of the memes
against Kerry were PLANTED throughout the mainstream press and the internet early on by Clinton loyalists immediately after the 2004 election - and am quite certain that Clintons had their loyalists spread into every primary camp in 2003 to assure the undermining of any candidate they thought could be troublesome for their future plans.

8. Not All Deaniacs feel this way.
While I was disappointed that Dean lost, and not all that thrilled with Kerry, since the election I have come to appreciate all he is doing for the party. He's given Obama real support and real steadfast service. He's worked tirelessly for the good of the nation and the party. Same with Dean. And Gore. They've all worked hard after their defeats to do great work for people in general and the party. So I don't dislike him anymore, but am proud that he's a Democrat. I even have come to appreciate Teresa :)

9. Thanks for that.
It is nice to see positive reinforcement that these old problems can be resolved. Gov. Dean has done a good job in pursuing the 50 State Strategy and rebuilding the Democratic Party in places where it had almost ceased to exist. Gov Dean, Senator Kerry and former VP Gore are all working hard to get some real change for this country. They know that we are all on the same side, fighting the same fight now.

Thanks for checking in.

10. I really like Dean, and feel like for the most part Dean supporters are now Obama supporters.
That is why I found the story of this "TeresainPa" completely odd. Thank you for your comment, and welcome to the DU JK forum!! I don't think I have seen you post before, so it's nice to see a new "face" here.

11. I usually post in the Astrology Forum. Sometimes Food.
But I have been watching Kerry these last few years, and have really appreciated him coming out for Obama in a big way. I originally was trying to draft Gore, and when I took notice of Obama, noticed Kerry's support and how well he has worked as a surrogate. And I learned how he has worked tirelessly for years on Veteran's benefits. If he had won, I believe veterans would have gotten everything they needed and a lot of what they wanted from him.

BTW, isn't Hillary just like that crazy lady on the corner who wont go away?

12. She's the party guest who won't go home
even after you've put away all the food, washed the dishes, taken out the trash, turned out the lights, and put on your pjs.
