(beautiful state, lousy weather, but it was so relaxing).

It was really a shock to come back to a DU who is still talking about that (not to talk about the fact that some media are still there as well). Why do people care so much. May be it is because of what I thought about Edwards, but I cannot see why it still makes news. It is not as if Edwards was in play for the VP seat.

Anything new aside this these last few days?

1. Uh, there were some half-way funny threads about the Olympics...?
I wish the people who feel the need to post ridiculous threads about Edwards would stop it, too. But that's really all I've got to say about that.

2. because Edwards still hasn't told the truth and it involves his campaign
i didn't contribute to him so there wasn't any personal loss to me.

but at this time i'm feeling really bad for Elizabeth. even taking into account all the stuff she said about JK and Teresa that i did not like. i just feel really bad for her the more i read about what Edwards has done and how everything happened.

i'm sure she has a lot of family and friends but i do like to think Jk and or Teresa were able to speak to her and just offer any support even just kind words to her.

3. I know Edwards supporters who are still crying today
Literally. People have supported him for the last four years and more, the same way we've supported Kerry. They're going through hell. People who moderated pro-Edwards groups are trying to figure out whether to shut their groups down, rededicate them to other purposes, or what. What Edwards did was like dropping a nuclear bomb on a whole lot of caring, dedicated, idealistic people. A lot of people are wondering how much more remains to be revealed, and whether they can salvage any of their respect for the man. People are going to keep talking about this for quite a while.
