I went home (and basically offline) the day before Dean was elected chairman. I guess I missed the fun around here.

But anyway, I guess those militant Deaniacs have stopped complaining about good Democrats and have refocused their energy on Republicans, right? I mean, the DLC and "DINOs" didn't keep Dean out of the chair like they said he would. I bet they're all fat and happy now.

1. i am seeing a bit less of it now
although there are some attacks on specific democrats like Kerry and some others.

but not much of the many daily posts about how evil the dlc is and how we must do something about them.

2. Hillary is getting it at the moment
and some have tried to bash Dean for not being anti-war enough.

Some at the moment have stopped calling Hillary DLC, and have started calling her PNAC instead. Yeah, that's better.

Why are we so much harder on family than on company, eh?

5. Sure didn't. The minute he became Chair with that
speech with that speech is the moment they flamed him for being to soft on the war. Of course, then Dean went on to smoke Bushbot Richard Perle on the IWR policy. So, give the guy a break is all. There are other things to talk about besides IWR, his acceptance speech was about the Democratic party not the war.

7. Really? I guess I don't read everything on DU.
I haven't seen any Dean bashing. In fact, I got creamed for saying his speech was wooden. I still think it was. Not one of his better deliveries. What don't they like? I have been screaming not to expect miracles because the Chair doesn't have much power. They kept saying Dean would make the job what he wanted it to be. I finally posted the National Democratic Party By Laws in order to prove there was a job description and it wasn't what they thought. Sigh. I think he will be fine.

8. The speech read well. That is to say I read it on the
internet. Vektor did a hilarious LLL version of it too. Sometimes he does not deliver canned speeches very well.
Yes they did cream him for that speech and that was unfair. That speech was just on the DNC it wasn't about the war and it did not have to be. Again, he went on to smoke the IWR apologist Perle in a debate, so the lefty freepers shut up after that.

6. I'll talk about them . I hate them!
:) :) :) I talked about them just recently on this forum! And I was never a Deaniac. He wasn't liberal enough for me! Kerry's voting record spoke for itself! The people that supported Dean for chair weren't just Deaniacs. The grassroots really overwhelmed the powers that be. And I think this is a good thing. Pehaps we can clear out some of that "politics as usual, lets make a deal Repuke lite thinking" !
