Unless she decided that there would be no time for follow-ups. The media has the opportunity to point this out now, at any rate. SP did falter at a few points simply because Joe said something that she didn't have a scripted answer memorized for. And overall, he came off as confident and at ease with the whole thing, while she was so tightly wound up it looked like she'd pop.
