Video of LKL yesterday - Kerry is first and is via phone

His comments are great. There is such a contrast between him and Dodd, who spoke of Kennedy with love and respect and McCain - who used it to lie about the health care plan - saying that it funds abortion - and to speak of John McCain. ("move heaven and earth to be there" - rather over stating getting on a plane!) I think the comments on healthcare were edited out. I heard it yesterday when he was on. Not to mention, LKL did not do Kennedy justice with that excerpt.

I loved Dodd's story about Kennedy making funny rabbit faces through the window to amuse Dodd's little kids because they couldn't come in as Kennedy was too ill - about a month ago.

I don't usually watch King (took me a while even to figure out what you mean by LKL :-)), I find it too annoying that a smart and non-partisan man is prostituting himself the way he does. I am watching now, and paused just to comment on the clip of Teddy on the Senate floor talking about the minimum wage bill. God, will he be missed! Dodd' comments were really touching (the rabbit ears story adorable), welcome to the club, catheters, and all. It's as you said, Kerry and Dodd spoke like people that lost somebody dear and close, McCain spoke like a smart ass politician. His smug smile at the very beginning says it all.

Agree, Kerry's comments are wonderful. I think in addition to his personal life, Obama winning the Presidency was one of Kennedy's happiest moments.

I actually can't watch too much of this because I'd be in a useless puddle on the floor. It is just too overwhelming. His devotion and generosity of spirit was unparalleled.
