She really was Kennedy's rock during their years together as well.

Vicki's recent op-ed on health care reform was terrific.

Then on top of that my son's drummer in his band in NYC got murdered, it has not been a good month. :-(

I was watching last night and I was wondering where JK was since I didn't see him after the vote, now I know he went to see Vicki, that must of been a wonderful moment for her and him.

Both of those things are awful. How is your son doing? This has to be incredibly hard on him and his friends.

Difficult times. Puts my little medical problem (parathyroid and partial thyroid removal) into perspective. Feeling lousy for a little while, but no big deal. Good thoughts and plentry of wishes for better times ahead.

...too. Doctors don't so thyroid surgery without good reason. I've been there, and it was no picnic. ;) Feel better soon. :hug:

Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Ben Nelson (D-NE)--two of the final hold outs--reminded reporters that they'd oppose the bill that emerges from negotiations with the House if the language changes dramatically, entrenching the conventional wisdom that the House will have to accept a final bill that's significantly less progressive than the bill they passed this fall.

I know it's not ging to happen, but God I wish they would find a way to muzzle these two and their so disproportionate and so undeserved power.
