2. He wouldn't say.
He smiled this cheshire cat smaile and said, "Connections."

There is a BC connection, so I'm sure it had something to do with that route.

Ahm, it's it's not too much trouble,
or if it's not too personal
or if you just don't feel like it
I understand, but otherwise

WHAT DID HE WRITE!

To XXXXX -

Thank you for your support and for the good wishes and work from your husband and children.

This is my favorite part:

"Leave the heartache of November behind as fast as possible. We have work to do!"

7. Well, I don't know.
The person could have had details of something in there that you didn't want to share. (It wasn't a test. I was just trying to be polite, in case you wanted to keep it to yourself.)

Ah, that is nice. What a classy guy! No wonder we made him Senator. (Congrats! Couldn't have happened to a nicer Kerrycrat!)

Sisterhood & Solidarity floatie hearts for Whome!

12. Thanks for sharing that!!!
I need to remember that almost every day. I'm just climbing out of my depression.

Taking nothing away from you but I feel like he could have been speaking directly to me.

You are lucky (but I'm sure your husband is too!):yourock:

I hear you: I'm climbing out too, slowly but surely. It goes unevenly--a little forward, a little back, but we make progress.

I'm trying to find places where I can do some good, and that helps.
I've been down this road before (being depressed, I mean), and know that whatever you can do proactively, to feel empowered, helps a lot.

My younger son is as well. So you either have a birthday coming up too - or just had one. Happy birthday to you too!

I keep opening the book and peeking inside to see if it's still there. Silly me. :)

Yes, on the 14th. I don't think my husband will get me a JK autograph, but he is taking me out somewhere fun. :) And we've actually been taking ballroom dancing lessons, something I've wanted to do for a long time.

edit: I'm a Pisces too--so there are at least three of us here!

10. It was just such a
a TOTAL surprise. He is a very sweet and thoughtful guy, and I had a lovely birthday. Only thing missing was the two boys - one was in Idaho, of all places, and the other in NY.
