John Kerry - Describing Himself (2003)
Some political insiders have called me aloof over the years. I have a feeling that my my not spending one weekend in Washington for more than seventeen years may have something to do with that label. I'm not aloof at all with my colleagues, friends, and constituents I have spent time with when I'm away from Washington.

Likewise, I've been misunderstood for having a comfortable background. That is true, but it was built on a foundation of duty and service, which my family considered a responsibility. And I'm deeply grateful to have served America, to have done my part, no matter how small, to help out out our great nation.

Fortunately I recognize that life is more than politics and power. As someone might guess from my early decision to serve on fast boats in the Navy, I love pastimes that bring together the sky, wind and surf. One of my favorite sports in fact, is windsurfing, followed by sailing a close second. I'm a trained glider pilot but generally fly with a engine. In the winter, I love to ski and skate, and I'm so addicted to ice hockey that I fantasize about starting a professional over-fifty Senior league.

I have been a avid biker (bicycle and motorcycle) all my life. I bought a Harley-Davidson last year and have been trying to talk Teresa ever since. I rarely get to ride now, which I'm confident pleases her greatly. If there was an ESPN 1 1/2 I would be a charter subscriber. I am a member of one of the most selective but fastest growing sports clubs in the world: the NASCAR fans of Massachusetts.

2. You Got That Right !!
He is older than my dad but man oh man is he good looking as hell!
Hell I would go riding with him on his Harley! He wouldn't have to ask me twice. I like riding on motorcycles and to ride with a good looking man would just make it alot nicer! Damn what a man. Did you see him ride his Harley on the Jay Leno show he was hot!

10. I don't like motorcycles
But I'd STILL ride a Harley with John. Admittedly, it has precious little to do with the motorcycle, and more to do with being squished up next to him, wrapping my arms around him...

*ahem*
What was I saying?

Ah yes. Actually, I enjoy sports, so I really should meet him. I'm not one of those girls who confuses a field goal and free throw, and I know he enjoys lots of deep subject matter as well (poetry, etc). I'd kill to have a chance to meet him, interact with him. I would honestly pick him if I could choose to meet any man in the world. Age is just a number; pfah to that!

14. Which is why he needs me
I mean, come on, if Teresa can't enjoy his hobbies with him, maybe he needs to find a more, er, willing companion?

3. beautiful piece
I love it when he talks. He is so real, and conveys the compassion and spirit you see in his eyes.

I have to say though--I've thought of him as kind of a dad/uncle kind of figure. Kind of someone to look up to.

4. As opposed to George Bush
"I use a chain saw to whack at shrubbery because I fall down when I try more physically challenging activities. Oh, and I'm skeered of horsies."

I still cannot believe America was duped by this asshat.

5. Oh, I know!
Chimpy is the biggest douchebag ever! How anyone can think of him as "manly" is one the mysteries of life.

6. Really!
Could you ever even imagine that ugly chimp on a Harley? OMG BARF!!!:puke: That would be a disgrace to all bikers and Harley's.
Hell Chimp cant walk and chew bubble gum at the same time much less have the talent or gonands to ride a Harley. Hell he wouldn't make it out of the parking lot before his dumbass crashed. Sheesh! And the only reason Chimp made fun of Johns hobbies is because he is to damn stupid and can't do them himself. Like I said you have to remember Chimp is a total dumbass that can't even chew bubble gum and walk at the same time, much less do anything manly like windsurfing, ice hockey, sailing, or riding a Harley.

8. LMAO!
Chimp is about the dumbest and most accident prone president (so-called) in history! Remember that band-aide across his nose after the bike accident LOL. He got mad when that picture got out.

9. He always looks stupid
in every single picture that comes out. He has one of the dumbest faces of all time. I remember the pretzel incident and that black eye. And, just now, I remembered that time during the 2000 fiasco when he had a boil on his face or something and had a bandaid over it. Ugh, he's so lame!

11. There's a really dumbass pic of him
On a cover of Newsweek from early September, right around the RNC. He looks like he's sucking his teeth. If I had a scanner, I'd scan itfor you, but it might burn your retinas off. So probably a good thing I don't have a scanner.
