He is having a hard time getting around on those crutches. He wasn't like that yesterday so it had to have happen last night or this morning what ever it is. It is the right leg or foot that he is having problems with you can tell that when you see him.
I was going to say that he must have been skiing, because tons of people at my school are currently on crutches due to Spring Break skiing accidents, but I guess not, if it's happened in the last 24 hours. Interesting. I hope he's okay!
Nice to see you around. It was probably one of those dumb things that happen - he hasn't got little kids leaving roller skates around, but maybe just a mis-step.
I think he probably slipped and twisted his ankle or something. We will find out before long it will be all over the news as we know. Poor thing is going to have to go to the Popes funeral on crutches now.
I remember reading that the two little Edwards kids do drop by often to see Momma T. That's so nice, seeing as JK doesn't have grandkids yet. Sorry to remind the LLL's, but yes, he is old enough to have them!
I didn't see the vote. Crutches you say? Oh dear. I think he should rethink that trip to Rome. It's way too crowded for a guy on crutches. (Teresa is not gonna like this.)
I haven't a clue what happened. I didn't see the vote. I will check in for the Joint Session tomorrow for Viktor Yushchenko's speech and see for myself.
Geez, I just checked the major Boston media sites and there was nothing. Perhaps it's just a twisted ankle. I hope so.
He hobbled onto the floor for a vote and then hobbled off. Wonder what happened. No mention of it anywhere, so I'm assuming it's minor. (Twisted something maybe? Just a couple of days to recover, hopefully.)
since he is a guy who loves being very physically active.
i'm pretty sure it's not that serious since he looked great and we would have heard about it if it was something more. but i do still wonder why he is on them.
On C-Span2 during a vote. Must have been a little nothing that happened. (Tripped on something is my guess.) Doesn't seem too serious or the Boston Herald would have called for him to resign.(A joke, people, a joke.)
26. He seems to have the hang of them better than yesterday...
He looked awkward and self-conscious with them yesterday. Today he's bopping right along - huge strides on 'em.
I even saw him using them to gesture--looked like he almost whacked a couple of people in the head by accident (unfortunately none of the ones I'd love to see him clocking on purpose).
Too bad he wsn't near Cornyn or Coburn or Santorum. Ah well. I could only see him on the little postage stamp size pictures that comes from C-Span2 while I was at work. (It's pretty easy. You wait for a vote and go about your work business. When the clerk announces, "Mr. Kerry: Aye" you go back up the feed and have a look-see. I watched that for a couple of seconds, saw the Senator laughing and figured it was probably a trip on the rug or something. Went back to work.)
