I don't see much point in bashing Dean at this point, but if I had such a desire there's also plenty of evidence of him being dishonest regarding Medicare.

we should all go to those threads armed with quotes from Dean and Clark which sound similar to Kerry's policies. That would enlighten the ones who are willing to listen.

Of course the regular Kerry-bashers will never listen, but there may be others who come across these threads. Whether the Kerry bashing is allowed to stand, or is refuted, might have a bearing on these people's opinions of Kerry.

There may also be new members between now and the 2008 election who are unaware of the primary battles. If Kerry runs again, these threads could have a bearilng on whether they consider supporting Kerry.

Oh my. I guess my argument above means that we are already fighting these battles for the 2008 nomination. I guess its fitting since just last week I took the Kerry Edwards sticker off my car and replaced it with the Kerry 2008 sticker. (The No-W sticker remains.)

The only reason I bother to go into those threads is in case some uncommitted person is lurking around. I know I'm never going to convince those clowns of anything.

Haha, I liked whoever's crack (can't remember) about the "same less than 10 people" coming out in force again. Hahaha... they're so voiceferous in order to make up for their small numbers. How very sad.

actually wrote that what Kerry did here was good. This person has been arguing with everyone that if Kerry just went on TV every day and argued forcefully we wouldn't be in this mess. I was tempted to respond thanking him (her?) but thought it could be misinterpreted as either patronising or sarcastic. It probably means that he was sincere with what he was saying earlier and is giving Kerry credit where credit is due.

I think that person is sincere. I have noticed that he (?) is generally positive about Kerry, but wishes Dems had more exposure. I don't think he's a bad guy.
