Local Kerry news

Just saw this and my esteemed Senator on local news as I was typing in another thread. Not to make anyone jealous or anything. LOL! (Sorry WEL. I just turned around to look at my TV and there he was. Wow! Ah, happens all the time.)

Senator Kerry will be in Hopkinton, MA on Monday for the start of the Boston Marathon. He will signal the start of the race for the Wheelchair athletes. This is an honor for the Senator, who is finally getting some recognition from the good people of Massachusetts. (We luvs him now.)

Good for him. A richly deserved honor. (And he's piling up those frequent flier miles again. Washington DC today, Austin TX tomorrow, Boston Sunday, Washington DC on Tuesday. The Iron Man competition has nothing on Kerry.)

I am beside myself with excitement!!!!!

He's speaking on his chidren's health bill. It's a town hall meeting on the UT campus. I'll report back tomorrow sometime. I will have my camera in hand!!

yesterday and got interrupted. I may be calling you today after it is over! I knew you would just about die when you heard this news!!! Can you believe it? I'm leaving in an hour to go to the event!!!! Surely I will catch his eye???

So he will recognize us and know that we are not just any old faces in the crowd. I know he's coming to Portland soon, I just know it. (he better)

Any ideas?

I've always been partial to the red hat society, maybe we can do something outrageous like that????

I saw him last week. He is on a roll. I believe he is developing a five point plan that he will be emphasizing through the 2006 election. (At least.)

I would be curious to see if you hear this as well. It is a good idea to develop a consistent set of points and then hammer away at them at every stop.
