I noticed we are not far from 30,000 post now. The other groups haven't even hit 10,000 so this is for sure the most active.

12. this might be the best place for this comment
Is it just me, or are we Kerrycrats far nicer in our discussion of other people's favorite Democrats when we go to other boards? I don't remember reading any of us dissing Clark or Dean or anyone.

Could it be because our guy was the nominee, so we don't have axes to grind like they do? Or what do you think? I tend to see all the Dem leaders as being on the same side, so why not save the ammo for the true enemy. I don't understand all the infighting, except that they were ABB and didn't ever really believe in Kerry. I only starting coming here in November so wasn't a witness to everything that happened before.

13. Dean supporters were always the nastier
Of course I'm sure this doesn't apply to all Dean supporters, but over on the official Kerry blog and other sites, Dean supporters were by far the worst in attacking the other candidates before the primary.

Being the winner doesn't explian it as the Dean people were quite bad back when they were convinced Dean was going to sweep through Iowa and NH and wrap up the nomination quickly. Deanies had trolls on the blogs of all the candidates, while there was minimal attack of other candidates. The one exception was attacks on Dean which came about direclty as rebuttals to attacks on Kerry. After all, if they are going to call Kerry a flip flopper, it is hard to ignore the tremendous differneces in positions between Governor Dean and candidate Dean.

They never got over the fact that they lost to Kerry, and became even more anti-Kerry as Kerry started winning the early primaries. Once Dean dropped out, it became better, but they've been getting worse since the election.

17. And when the discussion turns to Dean dissing
they flee.

Sounds like the classic "Can dish it out but can't take it" routine.

Each candidate has at least some supporters that need to reel in the rhetoric, even Kerry. I've seen some on this site even, and they're gone now. Which I didn't mind. I don't want Kerry represented by Clark bashers and/or Dean bashers.

I think I've made some friends lately by defending Clark and Dean when they've been attacked unfairly. But I'll do that for anyone. Criticize, don't bash. And have your facts straight.

19. Defendng against attacks
While I've spend the most time defending Kerry, I've even defended Dean from a number of attacks--primarily right wing attacks.

16. What they're too stupid to get is that
DEAN is a centrist; Kerry is a liberal.

18. True
I'm working on something showing Kerry as the best hope for a true liberal nominee in 2008, but delayed that to get out my post at LUTD today on the Kos attacks.

I supported us by shopping at Teusday Morning! Did you hear Lauren Bacall about liberals on Larry King? She rocks. I wanna be Lauern when I'm older!
