Can somebody tell me when we started considering...
...Joshua Frank and "Counterpunch" real, credible, bastions of accurate and balanced news?

Seriously. WTF? Why are people getting into a tizzy over spew from these "sources." Am I the only one who wants to see a credible source before I form an opinion?

This is worse than the sentinel event that was Kerry's bad tan, courtesy of a bad Drudge Photoshop job.

1. there was lots of use of Counterpunch on DU when Kerry started winning

primaries. . .the usual suspects would breathlessly post some opinion piece w lame-attack-from-the-left-Kerry-is-worse-than-Bush nonsense. Some of the pieces could have easily have been written by Karl Rove's Fake Lefist Unit as far as I was concerned. So it is nothing new. . .Glad I missed these recent threads; I am getting serious DU burnout and that would have put me over the edge.

6. that's a classic, all right!
eight screamin' megs!

I've still got my Emax and sp-12, although I can't say I've used them in years.

The computer based sampling stuff has just gone light years beyond what I dreamed of back in the days of my first sampler (ensoniq mirage).

Just finished a piece last night - extensively reworked in sound forge. It's still so much fun to get in there and mangle...

3. Which is ironic considering they're not Dean's friend either
Actually I hate to see it used as a source by anyone. I saw a Kerrycrat use it against Dean, and a Deaniac use it against Kerry. But you can't use one story from there, and discount that they've got hit pieces against your guy too.

I really hate Counterpunch. They are not our friend. Leftist wingnuts.
