Kleeb, about those O's
Edited on Sat Jun-25-05 08:59 PM by TayTay
What's going on? The O's have lost five straight. Did the pitching implode, injuries, what is it?

AHm, I'm a class act, so I will not say who is in first place now. But I'm sure the Senator for whom this group is named is happy. (Probably getting ready to pop a cold one tomorrow and watch his first-place team battle the Phillies. Sometimes, life is good.)

Not that I would ever mention that, cuz I'm not a beyatch, right?

1. I know who si in first place
and I am happy for htem. Its the injuries and everyone has these kind of streaks, and its actually a four gamer not three gamer. I think its just a typical struggle and or that the injuries have gotten to them. The only thing thats making me feel better about this is that the Yankees suck this year.

2. BTW, that tease is about as obnoxious as I get
The reason for the Boston/New York rivalry is the difference in attitudes. Bragging means I become what I say I don't like. So, I can't brag or boast too much. It's hypocritical.

I meant what I said earlier in the year. I don't want the race to always be Boston/New York because it's unfair and boring. And I love the O's. They are a favorite team of mine from way back. They are still a relatively young and untested team, so we'll see if they come back. (I hope so. It's poisitively undemocratic to have just the rich teams in serious competition. Sigh, I am such a liberal.)

So, don't give up. The Red Sawx last year played 500 ball for 3 months, then got over the injuries and all and did rather well. Hang in there kiddo.

3. The injuries are whats been killing us
Edited on Sun Jun-26-05 11:16 AM by JohnKleeb
Yep and the Yankees seem to be headed down hill, so that gives me some hope. Its just this four game losing streak, not being able to go to beach week, etc is driving me insane.

4. I am so sorry about that
I thought you had secured housing for Beach Week. That's awful.

Four game wlosing streaks can come and go. The O's are still relatively young and able to come back. It's just the injuries. Are these 'out for the season' injuries or '15 Day DL' injuries?

5. Well lets see
Lopez and Bedard wont be back until after the all star break and I think Mora and Surhoff are 15 Dayers, yeah I know its awful, I called the dude and everything but he never returned my call, I came to realization of why I really wanted to go bad, it wasnt just a chance to hang out with people, it was a chance to escape from how chaotic and hellish my house can be with my parents and brothers.
