Let's hear it for Stephanie Miller!!

Finally. I just heard Stephanie Miller say something I've been waiting eight months to hear someone say.

They were talking about Carl Cameron's report on Kerry's activities yesterday, and quoted him saying, "Failed presidential candidate John Kerry..." They them proceeded to rip Cameron up one side and down the other. It was very funny, but it also felt great to hear it said out loud on the radio. Stephanie said, "Can't they refer to him as former presidential candidate, or, say, current U.S. Senator..."

Indeed.

But why is Cameron not fired? He FABRICATED out of thin air a damaging Kerry story. The Rather story had much legitimate backup along with the non- provable memos. In Rather's case, at worst he was careless, but he almost certainly did not knowingly but out lies - which Cameron did.

And thereby has great job security? Only reason I can come up with. Under any other circumstances he would have been fired.
