watch the replay because he did an excellent job (with no provocative statements or anything).

He was very good.

Dembloggers will have it soon.

1. He was very good. Even with Tweety's obvious baiting...Dean wouldn't bite.
Well, except he took a few chunks out of Bush...heheh.

3. He was very good
Tweety is so awful. First he talks just to hear himself talk, then he puts out bizarre phrases and doesn't let his guest respond. Tweety wants to rip the Dems a new one because he thinks they should all just come out and say that the war is a blunder and that (I don't know exactly. Tweety is a bit vague on the specifics of what comes after blunder.)

Honestly, if Kerry, Biden, Clinton, etc did come out and say that Tweety would then ream them for abandoning the middle of the country. It's just straight 'gotchas' with this guy. It's not very insightful.

I think Gov. Dean did a good job staying out of Tweety's potholes. I think Dean is doing a good job and I love the Democracy Bonds thing he came up with. (Will have to talk to the hubby about that. I think we can do it. I'll just make in honor of one of my Senators, just for kicks.)

4. Democracy Bonds
I gave that way throughout the Kerry campaign. They just took it out of the bank through my credit card each month, my husband lost 2 jobs through the campaign time, so it was the smartest way to do it. When there was a special fund drive, I knew I had given or if I had extra I just donated a little more. It worked out perfectly. We gave $25. a month.

5. Have I told you lately that I love you?
This is wonderful. Just wonderful. You're one of my bona fide heroes. You gave money even through job losses?

I hope the Dems know what people are willing to sacrifice for principle and for people they consider, 'worth it.'

Honestly, thanks for telling this. You rock!

6. I know. I love the Democracy Bonds.
The thread that was going on during the show has some talk on those. It is a long thread though.

7. At least he didn't hurt anything
I wasn't particularly impressed because the rest of our Dem leadership is talking about milestones, benchmarks, accountability, and specific methods to get the job done in Iraq. Dean started out good, but I think he let Tweety puff up his ego as the 'lone wolf out in the wilderness', and got distracted into primarily attacking Bush. His job is to knock down right wing talking points, like Dems not criticizing Bush or supporting Bush's war, and he didn't do it. So while I don't think he hurt anything, I don't think he particularly helped the party advance the Iraq strategy demands either.
