Katrina- Local resources

I'm thinking that the people who are helping right now are the local organizations and that the burden could quickly become more than they can handle. I'd hate to see them go bankrupt because all the money got sent to national organizations and didn't filter down fast enough. So I'm compiling a list of local resources, if you know of more or want to help with the list, PM me with what you find. I'm trying to find organizations that have online donations or do the bulk of the social services work in various areas. Thanks.
