John Edwards did a good job on TDS

It sounded like Jon Stewart was trying to goad him into saying something negative about John Kerry, but he didn't take the bait. He said that they still talk, they're still friends and their families are still friends. Thanks for keeping it positive John!

from what i have read it seems they have an agreement for 2008 which is they should do whatever they want and they will keep their personal relationship separate from politics.

Kerry is actually VERY good at this and in not taking things personally. if he did then he would have been out of politics long time ago.

He was very gracious. I wish I was better at remembering lines. All I remember is Jon Stewart asked him a question about Kerry which Edwards answered by pointing his finger at Stewart and saying a loud, firm NO.

Of course, we already have the obligatory post-TDS Edwards for President thread up.

I was almost not going to watch because I figured Stewart would bash Kerry, but he really didn't. I do think Stewart was goading and hoping to hear something negative from Edwards and to Edwards credit, he kept it classy. I was happy I watched and I came away very interested in Edward's anti- poverty organization.
