Today, I don my Red Sox hat...

I don't care that the University of Toronto is swarming with kids from Asia and Latin America who think they're Yankees fans even though they can't name a single player besides Jeter or A-Rod. I'll have you all know I wore my hat around campus every day we were facing elimination last year, all the while sporting a "that's right, suck it" look on my face every time some Yankee bandwagoneer walked by.

I wanna be in on the ground floor when we come back and kick everybody's asses. You got a problem with that?

On edit: Also, I have bed head, so a hat of any kind is probably a good call :)

But even if, heaven forbid, the Sox falter, it's okay. (I love them, but you can't go to the 0-2 or 0-3 well three years in a row with suspecting that some day simple math is going to catch up with them and they will not advance when they are in the hole like that.)

And it's okay. If last year taught me anything, it's that it's okay. We really will get them next year. (And also, ham, don't gloat. 3 Superbowl wins in 4 years and a Red Sox World Series win are a lot for one region of the country. And, should the Red Sox go down, I realy, really want Chicago to take it all. Cuz Chicago is a wonderful town and winning it all after a really long draught feels unbelievably great.)
