Got any good jokes?
Just filched this one from a thread at Kos:
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/10/20/134759/47

The President, the First Lady and Dick Cheney are all flying on Air Force One.

George looks at Laura, chuckles and says, "You know, I could throw a $1,000.00 bill out the window right now and make somebody very happy."

Laura shrugs her shoulders and replies, "Well, I could throw ten $100.00 bills out the window and make 10 people very happy."

Cheney then adds, "Well of course then, I could throw a hundred $10.00 bills Out the window and make one hundred people very happy."

The pilot rolls his eyes, looks at all of them, and says to his co-pilot, "Such big shots back there. Hell, I could throw all of them out the window and make 156 million people very happy!"

It's on Daily Dissent http://dailydissent.org/. Scroll down to the post with the cartoon. It's a video about "how to be a Republican".
Click on the word "animation" under the pic and you'll see it.

It hits all the talking points--lol.

3. Clocks
A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of

St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of

clocks behind him. He asked, "What are all those

clocks?" St. Peter answered, "Those are Lie-Clocks.

Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie

the hands on your clock will move."

"Oh," said the man, "whose clock is that?" "That's

Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved,

indicating that she never told a lie."

"Incredible," said the man. "And whose clock is that

one?" St. Peter responded, "That's Abraham Lincoln's

clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe

told only two lies in his entire life."

"Where's Bush's clock?" asked the man.

"Bush's clock is in Jesus' office. He's using it as a

ceiling fan."

love it!!!

Here's one my son just told me:

Donald Rumsfeld and George Bush are having a meeting and Donald Rumsfeld says, “Mr. President, I have some bad news. Two Brazilian have been killed in Iraq.”

(Think Bad Texan Accent) The President all of a sudden yells, “Oh, my God! No!!! Not two Brazilian!! Lord, No!!!”

Rumsfeld says, “Mr. President, I didn’t know you would be this upset.”

President, with head in hands, moaning, “Oh, dear God. Two Brazilian. No!!!”

Rumsfeld is very concerned and asks, “Is there anything I can do, Mr. President.”

George Bush asks, “Yes. Now… tell me. Exactly, how many is in a Brazilian???”

8. That was great.
Guilty as charged. I am trying really hard to get some work done at, ahhm, work, but I keep checking the blogs to see what's up.

Check buzzflash. Buzzflash is snarky to Kerry, but I can deal. Check Steve Clemons. He rocks today. Wow! Check Kos. (I hate Kos. He is a nasty little snot.) But the people who write on Kos have breaking news on TreasonGate. Check DU. Check Kerry group. Check Talking Points Memo, Raw Story, etc. Pretend to be working. Plan a Fitzmas night meal and what champagne to buy. Sigh! Plan nasty e-mails to Rethug relatives when they send out WTF letters?

I assume this is the same with you guys. It's like waking up everyday and it's still Christmas eve (or Birthday monring, when the parties in the afternoon or something.)

9. Exactly.
I fit my work around checking blogs - the same ones as you, pretty much, except add in Raw Story and firdoglake and Laura Rozen's War and Piece. It's like my brain is divided down the middle - very hard to concentrate.

I'm scared to trust it, though. I sort of feel like I did on election day. THank god the Daily Show has been on this week - and the Colbert Report - so far, really funny. I hope he can keep it up. His interviews are sooooo funny.
