, pretty refreshing.

He does better in the Q&A's and townhall settings I think. Very sharp on his toes and gracious handling those who disagree.

Where's all the young "out now" lefties? :shrug:

These are bright young people and even though some come from Annapolis, they all don't, and they all are asking very smart questions that are based in reality, not left wing ideology.

6. The last question on the soldiers burning 2 of the Taliban corpses

and the desrespect for the Moslem religion was great - as was Kerry's very balanced answer answer.

8. Really a thoughtful and precise answer

And I loved his little dig at Karen Hughes, lol, so funny. I liked the way he brought it all together, from his Vietnam testimony and holding people accountable, to respecting the troops overall, to our view on a billion Muslims around the world. Was really good and I think the audience really appreciated it too.

He was great--on fire, focused, and really connected with the audience. It occured to me that he does this much more easily now than in the run-up to his nomination. And he had his secret weapon, Teresa, sitting up front. Foreign policy is his forte, the area he seems born for--you can tell by how it lights him up.

If not President, I'd love to see him as Secretary of State someday--and he'd love the job.
