I was just at Smirkingchimp.com and reading what they were saying
about the weekend trashfest. (I think most people that post there belong to DU)

Anyway, one poster said that Kerry is going to bring up the DSM this week. Has anyone else heard anything about that?

1. Good. He has brought it up on the floor before
(June 26, I think in hs speech about Iraq. Bush was addressing the nation tht night, using the troops as a backdrop. Sigh!) Sen. Kerry wrote the first letter asking the Senate Select Committee to investigate the DSM. Others should sign it.

Especially after the Sunday NYTimes article for tomorrow. Yikes!

3. I'm curious too.
Hope it's not more Kerry bashing. I don't know if I can handle much more of that this weekend.

4. Lets hope this isn't another rumor or a, he said- he said thing.
Another negative associated with the Kerry bashing is a large doubt about the accuracy of many stories and claims posted here at DU. (not in this group of course)I question many of the sources or lack thereof here in GD and GDP. The incidence here this weekend, just heightened that doubt.

5. Not about Kerry. About pre-war intelligence. (Feeds into DSM.)

OMG! Yikes! Looks like That Friggin Idiot is in for another really bad week. The media smells blood and is going after him.

This Administration is falling apart. The story last week on the CIA terrorist camps in European nations was rumored to have been leaked by Bush because it reflects badly on Cheney. Now this. This Admin is toast. They are starting to turn on each other like wolves in a forest. (Yeah, like these wolves that you see out there, hungry, salivating, possibly making the point that wolves make you feel unsafe. Or maybe they are just in need of a tummy rub and a good can of Alpo. Either way, wolves are scary when they turn on you.)

7. Remember that wolves commercial last year?
When the Repugs tried to scare us that if we voted for Kerry, hungry packs of wolves would devour us?

Ironic.

8. Oh, man. I had totally forgotten about that until now.
A truly WTF moment in the campaign which reminded me how backwards, convoluted and stupid the non-logical of evil can be.

6. Democrats got the special prosecutor
Kerry wanted a special counsel appointed, outside the justice dept. We might not have had this indictment if it weren't for Democrats demanding the special prosecutor.

10. JK's statement about Fitzgerald in the article is interesting:
Comey and Fitzgerald "are both Bush political appointees and carry the same baggage as John Ashcroft," said Senator John F. Kerry, Democrat of Massachusetts, a presidential candidate. "All three serve at President Bush's pleasure. . . . The president must direct the immediate appointment of a special counsel who is not a political appointee and who is in no way beholden to the fortunes of his administration."

Thanks for finding this - forgot about that.

Of course I suppose he would need a brain in order for them to research it. Never mind.
