Anyone know the answer to this? (IWR / inspectors timing)
Edited on Sun Nov-06-05 06:31 PM by MH1
"Iraq had already agreed to full cooperation with the UN inspectors...

...before the IWR. They agreed to ZERO RESTRICTIONS-- which, BTW, the U.S. immediately set about subverting. But nonetheless, it is another bit of propaganda the Kerry or anyone else voted for the IWR to get the inspectors back into Iraq. Iraq had already agreed to full cooperation BEFORE the IWR. Google if you don't believe it-- it was in September 2002."

?? I think that is wrong but don't have time to find substantiation.

Maybe I stated the case wrong in my prior post?

If any one person wants to go answer, great. This is not a call to gang up though!

Actually, this is why they force Bush to sign the IWR, assuming wrongly that Bush would respect his part of the agreement. Remember, IWR did not declare the war. It described the conditions by which Bush would go to war and fixed the frame of an UN resolution that would would define the UN intervention.

I dont think it is worth arguing with this person though. It is a loss of time. The inspectors were NOT in Iraq then and a frame needed to be defined by the UN. That the IWR turned out to be a bad frame is clear now, but only because of Bush.

5. It is, but you
can pull quotes out of them, save the links and then you have a ready made response.

If you save it on your computer wordpad then you can copy paste all ready made responses (and even have them spell checked too) for quick responses to trolls.
