Martini Republic Blog takes on Kos attack of Kerry
"DNC mouthpiece and dependable Deaniac Kos at DailyKos somehow doesn’t like John Kerry speaking out against the War..."

http://www.martinirepublic.com/item/kos-wants-kerry-to-bag-it/

Please go let them know we also think Kos is a mouthpiece!

1. Kos cannot stop Kerry, so
let the cry babies keep pooping in their pants. Their funk cannot stop the momentum.

2. Kos doesn't know that Dean and Kerry work together pretty closely now?
Kerry has been helping Dean with alot of money and physical support of candidates.

Dean tried to support Kerry's Iraq withdrawal plan, but kept getting cut off by mediawhores.

Kos is a DUMBASS if he doesn't realize that Dean gets more support from Kerry than he does most other pols.

3. Yup. And Kerry did not object to Dean as DNC Chair
as long as Dean promised to keep to the tradition of DNC Chairs being neutral in the actual picking of Dem candidates for public office. There were reports in the press (obviously under the weather reports, sigh!) of Dean & Kerry phone calls back in Jan/Feb about how to proceed. They were working together. Kerry gave Deaan $1 million as a down-payment on the grassroots efforts and Dean promised to work hard ot unify the party. Sigh!

7. Dean knows it was just politics
Dean knows that his attacks on Kerry were all politics and no substance. He had to differentiate himself from the other northeastern liberal in the primary race. As Kerry had a much stronger anti-war record he needed to try to discredit Kerry on the war issue. He knew that his twisting of the IWR vote was all bunk. After all, he would have voted yes if he was in the Senate.

Dean knows there was no point in continuing the attacks once the primary battle was over, but Kos is a fool who believes all the nonsense promoted by the Dean campaign about Kerry.

4. MR could have done a bit better
sadly there was a note of snark in his post.

5. Saw it but ignored them
While I was happy they didn't go along with Kos attacking Kerry now, they also linked back to comments where they basically bought the Kos line of attack on Kerry's position on the war.

I almost linked to them on Democratic Daily and the Unofficial Kerry Blog but decided against it when I saw their earlier comments on Kerry and the war.

6. Unfortunately
this seems to between MR and Kos and not a *real* defense of Kerry, but at least it's something.

8. Yes, it does seem to between MR and Kos, but....
that means there is a place to strike back at Kos without going to his site. MR shows up in the Yahoo blog news section and it looks good to see anti-Kos messages there. If MR gets some traffic due to his criticism of Kos, they will likely continue.

Question: does anyone know why DU never seems to show up in the search engines? Everything on Kos appears immediately, but posts here seem to die here. Is this because blogs are the in thing now, or is it just because Kos pays $$$ to be in the searches. Or is it simply that he has a lot of traffic? Just curious.
