Anyone see this yet???? GAO report upholds Ohio vote fraud claims
Edited on Wed Nov-16-05 02:57 PM by whometense
Eric Alterman linked to it, saying

Was the election stolen? I’m beginning to think so, here.

This is EXPLOSIVE, if it gets any coverage AT ALL. Maybe Alterman will start the ball rolling. I can dream, can't I? Of course, over in GD this will probably just give the whiners renewed energy.

As if the indictment of Lewis “Scooter” Libby wasn’t enough to give the White House some heavy concerns, a report from the Government Accounting Office takes a big bite out of the Bush clique’s pretense of legitimacy.

This powerful and probing report takes a hard look at the election of 2004 and supports the contention that the election was stolen. The report has received almost no coverage in the national media.

The GAO is the government’s lead investigative agency, and is known for rock-solid integrity and its penetrating and thorough analysis. The agency’s agreement with what have been brushed aside as “conspiracy theories” adds even more weight to the conclusion that the Bush regime has no business in the White House whatever.<...>

On edit: Sorry if this is old news - I know I haven't been posting much.

3. The Miller GAO report
This is the one that he was referring to that he said Kerry said he didn't know anything about.

4. The report is kinda old news...
..but I hadn't heard about Alterman's mention of it. I haven't read his blog in lord knows how long, though....

The more coverage of it, the better. It is not easy to discount this one as a report with a partisan agenda, like some on the other side of the aisle have done with Rep. Conyers's work.

I hope that this report will be a catalyst for some improvements to the Count Every Vote Act, which would work well against voter suppression and voting equipment misallocation but could use some tweaks for election software security.

5. It's funny -
I swore off his blog last week when he wrote that Kerry was delusional if he thought he ought to run again (Alterman's all the way on board the Obama '08 train - though he may be the only person riding, Obama included).

I don't know what made me go back and peek today, but there it was. My first thought was, NOW you're saying this???? But better late than never. He may be a fringe media character, but he's mainstream fringe.
