Kerry must've kicked ass today
There's so much hysterical hating going on out in GD. :eyes:

I swear, all I'm going to be able to see when I go into GD soon is:

1. He did - and he dared tell to Wolf that he said his vote was wrong
before Edwards. That apparently made a few people mad.

23. It didn't take much to make them unhappy
one thread says Kerry is a gentleman which is no good in this tech savvy world. What we need is a rude president who is close to the netroots.

one wanted Kerry to call Wolf On coverage last year

3. He was incredible on both shows!
Wolf tried to rattle him, but it wasn't gonna happen! ::happy dance::

The "morans" that are attacking Kerry are about as logical as Shrub equating a distinguished Congressman and war veteran to Michael Moore.

4. It's actually getting kind of amusing.
DU/GD is like a Kerry-Kick-Ass-O-Meter. The louder they piss and moan out there, the better you know Senator Kerry did. Maybe we should just start laughing at them.

8. That's the tactic I'm taking
They were pissing me off so badly before, but today they just make me laugh...so whiny, so desperate. Sad, stupid little creatures. I love the ones who show up out of nowhere and start spouting the same, tired RW lies. Obvious much?

Edited on Thu Nov-17-05 09:00 PM by ProSense
My post:

Declaration number who cares!

How about starting a thread of my own:

I will NOT be joining you in NOT voting for John Kerry!

or

John Kerry will NOT be the Democrat NOT running for president!

Ok so you want to vote for someone else, go for it.

7. That is exactly the point - their favorite does not
(whoever it is, except Feingold), and Kerry is doing it in a way that could be dangerous for their chosen one in 08 (he does not sound like a loony).

So they have to attack.

. This was the spark, but, given where it came from, I cant see if it is accurate or not.

9. Just watched Kerry on Hardball, and he did kick ass!
It's so refreshing to see someone so intelligent and articulate. If only...

The Kerry threads are plentiful today. I do try to stick up for him, but sometimes it just doesn't seem to be worth the effort.

14. I went to GD
and put in my 2 cents' worth. Couldn't help it. Kerry ROCKED today on both shows, and I'd be damned if I was going to let the Kerry bashing go without commenting. Besides, I thought there might be lurkers who needed to know the bashers don't speak for everyone.

Having said that, if it weren't for the Kerry Group, I probably wouldn't stay at DU. Too hard on my blood pressure.

17. Kerry had high praise for Murtha, but
said he disagreed with Murtha's exit strategy and its immediacy. John prefers his own plan which would start by the 20,000 soldiers put in for Jan. elections to start coming home, and a gradual withdrawal of troops. He emphasized the December elections and said if they are successful, we should get moving to get out of Iraq.

19. Interesting. Are the CNN transcripts edited?
In the transcript, all that Kerry says is "I respectfully disagree with John Murtha" and you are the second person who tells me he praised Murtha.

21. I'm back
It's nasty and brutal out there. Brrrr!

I am astounded at some of those minds--what do the want, anyway??
Whatever it is, they will never find it in any candidate in the real world. No politician in his right mind would be worried about or try to cater to these peoples' whims.

In the end, all that really matters is who they vote for. Most of them will suck it up and vote for the next Dem candidate. If not, who cares--they won't vote GOP either.

John Kerry undercuts Murtha
by John in DC - 11/17/2005 07:03:00 PM

You gotta love John Kerry. Just when you think he's totally worthless, he comes back on more time to remind us why he lost.

John Murtha makes an amazing personal sacrifice, putting his reputation on the line, by going public against this growing fiasco of a war. So what does John Kerry do within hours of Murtha's speech? He says Murtha is wrong about needing to set a timetable for withdrawal. Kerry also hinted he might be running for election AGAIN in 2008. Gee, do you think that's why Kerry still can't make up his mind about this war?

31. See my comments
on the Murtha thread. Certain people would rather throw their support behind somebody they know nothing about (in this case, a pro-life, socially conservative hawk somebody) than a real candidate who *gasp* might not be perfect.

34. I really hate Aravosis
He's a gay man who hates Kerry for not being in favor of same sex marriage, but apparently doesn't see any problem in supporting Dean, who holds the exact same position. I'm starting to really hate the left wing.

29. I missed him
I hope the video gets posted soon. I just know he was awesome as usual. I know we need to focus on 2006 right now but I couldn't help but notice in the transcript Kerry's remark to Wolf that if he did run for President again that he would not make the same mistakes and that he would run to win. I know that statement is not a sure fire guarantee that he would run but I could not help but think after I read it that he came closer with that statement to admitting something than he has in the past. Also the statement that he would decide after the 2006 elections is telling, I think it will all depend on the Democrats winning in 2006 if Kerry will run or not, just my prediction.
