2. But they've got a new target
Clinton apparently is saying they should wait until after the eection before deciding on withdrawals (clearly misses Kerry's point) and he's not on board that Bush lied. He spoke at Westcester Community College.

So, maybe they'll pick on him today

3. That makes me so angry
that he won't get on board about the lying. Maybe he thinks he's rising above the fray, but it seems like he's downplaying the deceit. Why? He is still a democrat, even if he is also an ex-president.

5. I don't know if Kerry is on board about lying either
Yes he did say "crooks and liars" once, but on the Senate floor, he said the * administration misled the country into war, and cherry picked the intelligence data to bolster their case. THEN, he said, whether the misleading was intentional or not is unknown. Which is why we have to do the part 2 of the intelligence investigation. I guess I'm not even ready to say that * lied about WMD. I just think that he didn't give a s*** whether there were WMD as long as he could have his war. You know -- the difference between lying and bullshitting. A liar actually cares about the truth and flagrantly goes against it. The bullshitter doesn't even care what the truth is. (there's a book called Bullshit about this) * is and always will be a bullshitter.

6. I think that's right
Since * knew nothing about foreign affairs, I think it was easy for him to believe everything Rummy and Uncle Dick told him--and besides, he wanted to believe it, because it fit his quixotic worldview, which is full of murky "evildoers" and missions from God. For him it was a personal ambition, I think, to want to be a tougher president than his dad was, have a glorious presidential legacy, and get re-elected. Rummy and Cheney had long-standing reasons to go and take out Saddam for ideological reasons--to finish the job started in Desert Storm (PNAC).

But we do know that the evidence was then cherry-picked and fixed around the mission, as Kerry said.

9. Well, I haven't
forgiven Clinton for his son-of-Bush activities or for his comment at the library opening that he "may be the only person in the country " who likes both men.

I see him as a "now, now, can't we all be friends" apologist for * and it makes my blood boil. Maybe that's not fair of me, but so it goes.

10. that made me mad, too!
It was way too soon following the election--the wounds were still so raw!

The Kerry sighting at that event was what made it worth watching for me.

4. Biden will probably be a target today after his speech
Edited on Mon Nov-21-05 02:12 PM by Mass
given what he said on Fox News yesterday.

ON edit:

Here is the speech, It will definitively be a target: he says there are not enough troops.
