Time Magazine Poll: Red State Adults Willing To Vote Democratic Next Year

GD's post - Dead Heat between Bush and John Kerry if election held today despite low approval ratings and despite that 60% would prefer someone "completely different" from George W. Bush according to Time Poll.

Except that this is not bashing - Oh no

1. Mass
none of this talk means a damn thing. We are 3 years out. As far as Kerry is concerned he is right where he wants to be. This '08 crap is nothing but crap. Those idiots talking don't have a 5 million e-mail list and a strong backing, I mean for chrissakes Kerry got 59+ million votes, that is something no other Dem has behind him/her.

Avoid those threads, they are put up for one reason only to take the light off JK when he is very very strong right now.

3. I agree with you up to the point of ignoring them, I post positive for
others that support Kerry to reinforce their feelings. Screw the other immature jerks with the same old talking points. They have got to get tired of this after a while. How long can you continue to post the same old same old.

Oh, interesting that another post a couple of days ago that claimed Kerry would lead by 5% points got very little attention.I wonder if we could post that post within the new one to present an even more positive reference?

4. I think that's a good strategy
Support the postive posts, ignore the negative ones. For one thing, you won't get in trouble with the mods, and for another, you don't give these creeps the attention they so desperately crave. It will improve the tone of these threads and drown out the naysayers.

2. Raw Story knows the title will bring the bashers out with the same
old tired talking points. As soon as I saw the first one I replied about how Time leans right and mentioned their Person of the Year being Bush. This alone means something favorable for Kerry. I read some other poll numbers that were at a +5% for Kerry. I think all we can do is counter with positives, IMO.
Raw Story must think Kerry is gaining ground and they have to smack him back down along with Kos. IMO, two very immature blog sites and poor sources for accurate news stories presented fairly.

5. And why would anyone be proud to display that statistic?
I posted a Bloomberg article on the same poll which mentions nothing about a dead heat.

6. besides, the numbers are bogus anyway!
Because when 67% disapprove of Bush there is NO WAY he's going to get 47% to vote for him.

Whoever did that survey, it was flawed and ridiculous to even believe.

What did they do? Interview 5 people and call it a wrap?

7. hmm...rawstory is suddenly finding stories to bash Kerry with
Wonder why they're not balancing them with positive stories? They are 'suppose to be' more reliable than the r-wing nuts...but are they perhaps left winged nuts instead?
