If David Wade says something in a professional capacity
as in a response from Kerry's office, is it pretty much Kerry's response? Or is it David Wade's response.

I guess Blitzer got a response from Kerry's office calling Mehlman a draft dodger. Heh.

1. He said that as Kerry's spokeperson, as far as I understand.

2. It depends
It depends on how the email is worded. From the sound of this one, it's from David Wade, a Kerry staffer. Meaning David's name should be used to attribute to keep a little deniability between him and JK, but just a little. Mass posted and it sounds like he called Rush a draft dodger, not Mehlman. He called Mehlman a political hack.

3. Besides...
The military doesn't accept gays, so Mehlman would never have gotten in anyway.

5. When's it worded as Kerry spokeperson
it's said as a spokesperson, not as something directly from JK. When's it's directly from JK, it says John Kerry said.
