Tough words from David Wade
Edited on Sat Dec-10-05 06:33 AM by _dynamicdems
covered in the Post. Usually the Post is not friendly to John Kerry, so I'm surprised to see they printed words from Kerry Spokesman, Wade.

December 10, 2005 -- WASHINGTON — Democrat John Kerry yesterday blasted the Republican Party for creating a Web video that features a white flag of surrender waving across his face for suggesting U.S. troops are "terrorizing" Iraqis.

"The only shots these Republican hacks have ever fired are from their computers, so they might not know that the flag that flew over John Kerry's boat in Vietnam was red, white and blue," Kerry spokesman David Wade said.

"The president's lap dogs should spend more time trying to succeed in the war in Iraq and less time waging a war of words...

1. Excellent point by David Wade.
Chickenhawks believe attacking Democrats is an Iraq strategy.

Shows just how little brain power they have though: The ad is stupid, especially in light of the DNC statement (and existing video) indicating Bush said the same thing Dean said.

2. I remember David Wade from that "Political Tourist" movie
He's cute, although they joked that he looked like a Republican!! I like this feisty JK office very much. But I think the outrage is definitely genuine. JK is no longer in a campaign bubble and can see with his own eyes what these goons are about in the right wing media.

4. And it's so true
All they care about is PR, getting out a "message" regardless of the reality on the ground. They don't trust us with the truth!

Kerry is all about the truth. How many times in his speeches does he start out with, "...but the truth is..." And that's what I love about him. He trusts us with the truth. :)

Truth and Freedom go hand-in-hand; the repubs love to talk about freedom, but they make a mockery out of the concept of "truth".
