Me and John P., a hard working, awesome, butt-kicking Kerry aide who was absolutely excellent about answering all my email about the event, and just being an all around great guy.

Even these beautiful photos don't do John justice. He was BEAUTIFUL that night. What a gorgeous man. I'll have mine up tomorrow probably.

In fact, someone told me that last week! I've been hearing it since I was about eight. I guess you could say I have some appearance issues, mostly from getting picked on, and all I could think was "I hope John Kerry doesn't think I'm a mutt, because I think he is SO beautiful..."

You're a classic Northern California beauty. Anybody who says different clearly has jealousy or relationship issues.

Gosh, I didn't know we had models posting on this board! Yes, JK looks happy indeed having you there with your arm around him! I'm thrilled to pieces for you that you had such a wonderful time.

I knew that you are beautiful because I've met you in person but you just look gorgeous in these photos! John Kerry is so unbelievably tall, that alone would intimidate me to no end. I guess I would go for Teresa. And this John P. and you are the perfect couple! (Don't tell your cute hubby that I've said that. *g*)

I've uploaded the pics that came out ok to the photobucket account, in a sub-folder called rox_pics. A lot of the ones at the par-tay came out too dark to make out much of anything, so I didn't upload those. I will post a few of them now. But I would like folks to let me know whether they are ok with me posting pics that they are in. Or if it would be ok to post them as long as I don't identify who is who.

Our (Rox63, Island Blue and GRLMGC) huge room in the Park Plaza, where we hung out into the wee hours of the morning after the party:

OMG, it was so treacherous to walk around Beacon Hill that day. (I think we nearly killed Fire. Ahm, perhaps there are not that many forzen 45 degree mini hills down in Mississippi and this one seemed determined to up end her. Oh dear!)

We wanted to be extra careful walking around Boston so we didn't fall and incure any borken bones in Boston. You know, I heard you could sue, but those Boston juries aren't real quick to hand out those liability awards, you know. :shrug:

I know there were a few people who didn't want their pictures posted on the forum. So I'm waiting for a go or no-go from the people in the pics as to whether I can post them or not. They'll need to go over to the photobucket account and let me know which ones are ok with them.

Because I have always thought I was hideous. I never posted in the pic threads on DU before because I HATE HATE HATE my face. Now that I met JK, though, I was so happy that I sort of lost my inhibitions and said "I'm so happy I don't care WHAT I look like - I'm next to someone who is beautiful and I am thrilled."

Now I'm losing my courage and feeling like I'm ruining perfectly good pictures of John Kerry with my presence.
