A few photos

I also have another one I like of JK but he's got wicked bad red eye in it. Maybe if I can figure out how to remedy that problem I'll post that one later. I also have several pretty decent ones that include the "youngins" but they are going to have to give me the okay before I post any of those. :)

1. You're a wonderful photographer IB
I really loved all your pix, and I thought they were really flattering of all involved. Sure, if you have a pic of me that you'd like to post, go for it. As long as I don't look stoned or anything in it. :smoke:

6. She is an absolute stunner.
I had a conversation with her, and the whole time I felt like "Wow - she is talking to me, and she is one of the COOL people."

Nerdy, but it was awesome.

I can only begin to imagine how you must feel.

I went to the site below and read her message there. She is simply captivating.

3. Great pics!
John looks really happy, and Teresa looks amazing! As for the picture with the redeye, I have a program that can easily fix that. If you want to e-mail the pic to me, I can fix it and send it back to you.

Teresa looking classy like usual. They're such a classy and romantic couple. *sigh* I love seeing them together. They would've made a wonderful first couple.

12. JK and his leather jacket.

Sorry it's not a great photo. Let's just say at the moment, it would have been unwise for me to operate heavy machinery. ;-)

13. It IS a great photo
So candid. I see the traces of Lt JG in that face and the "gorgeous preppy" of 1971. D ; )

It shows his eyes better than most photos, I've ever seen. The only thing is he looks both somewhat sad - and it's his birthday - and very thoughtful.

21. Yup, he did indeed.
He 'returned the favor' of being surprised at his birthday soiree by surprising us at the later evening event. And then we got to talk a bit. There were some jokes, and quite a few curious questions about who we were and where we came from and stuff like that. (You know, talk you have when you sit down to meet people.)

It was just a wonderful time. (Okay, need a high five here again.)

27. i love it also, it's just so real
my favorite pics of him tend to be the ones he doesn't pose for. the pics taken while he is doing whatever he would be doing even without a camera there.

16. FANTASTIC picture
And a great close-up. Is that shirt the same one that he had been wearing with his suit?

18. He went home for a couple of hours first
So he changed out of the suit into something more casual. I heard there was a party at his home that night, but he decided to leave that and visit with us for a while instead. What an honor that was. :)

20. What a lovely pic.
Oh IB, this is now one of my favorites. He was actually not sad at all, just standing up and looking across at someone who was sitting down. (That's at least half a grin beginning to brew there.) But was a wonderful picture!

Wow!

23. Thanks, it was a quick snap
He came in so unexpectedly there was no real opportunity to catch a smile right at that moment. It would have been nice, but oh well. It's John Kerry in a leather jacket! What more do I want?

28. A very beautiful picture indeed
I remember reading late last year on some blog or another a comment that stuck in mind, somebody was calling him such an "old soul". That's what the expression, the eyes, in this picture says to me, and you can see the same in some others, even ones where he was clearly posing for a picture, e.g., the Rolling Stones cover. Sorry, just another middle-aged groupie with a crush

Maybe you will have to cover his 2008 campaign? Hmmm???

26. Oh that would be my total dream job!
Of course these were just taken with a little point and shoot digital, so the quality is lacking. I LOVED the photos Sharon Farmer (I think that was her name) took last year during the campaign. They were the photos that were always posted on his official website.
