There is some good debate going on in the Senate this a.m.
About voting on cloture on the Patriot Act. Good statements.
Also, did you hear about the NYT article that discloses that * signed a secret order allowing spying on U.S. citizens? They have known for over a year, and sat on the info at WH request!
if that NYTimes doesn't deserve a 'Mmoootthhheeerrrffuucckkeerrss!' then nothing does.
And the Senate debate is really good. Did you see Uncle Ted and his three things that need to be answered by the * Admin on the Plame case? Number one was, "What did the President know and when did he know it?" OMG! Bush is what Nixon only dreamed of becoming.
Yeah it is so reminiscent of Tricky Dick. This prez is the worst of all our recent repub presidents combined. He's got Reagan's runaway spending. But it's too nice a day to dwell on it!
If * did sign that secret order, isn't that illegal?? To go behind the backs of the whole Congress? Not that it would be the first illegal act--this adm. has no respect for the rule of law!
