I still love John Edwards...how about you?
He would have made an outstanding vice-president, hell a great president as well. I sure miss seeing him speak on TV. So how you guys feel about good ol' Johnny?

1. I miss those kids!
They were absolutely adorable. That's another thing I didn't quite get. With both those beautiful families, I expected a huge family oriented campaign. Camelot all over the cover of every magazine in the country. Didn't everybody else?

I don't know why we didn't get that. But I miss them ALL!!!

12. I did too!
I blame it on the media. I know that's the go-to excuse for everything these days, but it seemed like the press just lost interest after those first couple of idyllic days in PA.

I don't understand it.

3. He could reach me at times
Like when I thought about his son.

I hope him and the missus are doing alright. Elizabeth Edwards could run for office herself!

4. Her name could be Grace.
I think she has dignity and grace. I was already in complete and total shock over election day, and finding out about her was like a sucker punch. Finding a lump at all would be scary as hell, but in the last leg of her husbands vice presidential campaign? And you just couldn't tell. They kept working, and working and working.

9. She's a remarkable woman
I saw her in a PA townhall, about a month before the election. She explained everything so perfectly, and with humor and that mother's touch I guess. I think of all she's gone through and is going through. Some would decide they'd deserved a rest. But I bet as soon as she's well enough, we'll be seeing her all over the place. I really don't know where some people get such strength.

10. They make a wonderful team
I really liked John Edwards. (He has a charming accent. Southern accents always sound like music to me.) Elizabeth Edwards is something else. What a woman, Smart, brave, funny, feisty, loving. Wow. She could have her own career.

I haven't seen her since this hour long interview on Charlie Rose. I hope she is doing well. Last I heard, she is having treatment in DC, Boston and, eventually, home in NC. Godspeed.

7. we was nice. what's he planning to do now?
I haven't heard from him since the election. I'm sure spending time with his wife. I hope they are ok.

He wasn't my favorite pres. candidate but I thought the Kerry-Edwards combo was excellent.

8. they have made some public appearances
but the focus right now is mostly on Edwards helping his wife get through the breast cancer treatment.

i'm sure they will get through it and once all is ok we will probably be seeing a lot more of them.
