3. You guys are amazing
I went and read from that comment to the end and I am so impressed by your stalwart persistence and articulate courage. I love your withering rants as much as your cogent political logic, Vektor, and I love how all the other Kerrycrats pile on!!! People like those "haters" are truly disturbing, but when you all stand together and keep making SENSE, they sort of dry up and lie there in a heap, their venom exhausted until the next time they've puffed themselves up with hate and appear to spew it again.

4. It's sad...
I really feel sorry for them. They must have ulcers the size of dinner plates. You can always tell when someone is phony in their persistence...the more civil you are to them, the faster they explode, and resort to name calling.

Because they know they are wrong.

5. Wow!
That's some crazy lady. You've been through a lot here in alternate universe (and this is not derogatory---some of the most informed people are here online, but also some of the craziest). They ignore every bit of fact to relish in bizarre fixations. Could be worse: imagine if you had to deal with such behavior on a daily basis in real life.

7. But that would be bizarre.

Nothing wrong with liking someone a lot (I like Kerry and can present facts to support my position). Nothing wrong with disliking someone a lot (I dislike Bush and can present facts to support my position). The difference between a person advocating one of these two positions and a person engaged in bizarre fixation, is the latter person ignores the facts and makes crap up in his/her head to justify his/her obsessive behavior. Pointing to facts is not bizarre.

8. I hadn't seen that one yet...
I posted a supportive message in reply to your post, Vektor. The one you linked to had been removed by the time I got there, but I get the general idea. You handled it so well. Your original post was terrific, as were the followup replies. Good job!

I remember Tavis Smiley asked the same question at the end too.

11. What question, Sista?
I looked at the FAQ, which was mostly about the stolen election.

12. During the 2004 election,
Tavis Smiley (who usually does commentary on the Tom Joyner Morning Show) was helping Tom and the gang prepare a list of questions to ask Kerry. Well, that exact sentence listed at the end of that site was Tavis' question. It talks about challanging the 2000 elections and how no senators came forward and stood with the Congressional Black Caucus cause they weren't asked.

Fortunately, Tavis has mellowed since then (See Kerry interview on Tavis Smiley Show :))

Hope that helps PS. :hi:

13. I didn't see that at the link I posted
Edited on Fri Jan-06-06 11:18 AM by ProSense
I know all about that. That is just another lame argument detractors use. It's bogus to single Kerry out, especially since he is one of the more outspoken on the issue. Tavis spewed a lot of crap before the election (called them tough questions, whatever). Also, African Americans voted significantly for Kerry, even though the GOP suppressed the AA vote, and that strange bump Bush got in Ohio. I think he would have surpassed Gore's 90%. Kerry got 88%. (There is a very good article posted in the thread titled "Remember..."
