So so far, the same organizations, people and media have

criticized Kerry for taking a stand.Am I wrong or are they all the same sources? Again, damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. You know an important question is not being asked here,(well maybe once or twice)what happened with this nomination? I thought we were going to let Roberts go and fight the next one. I saw no fight at all- just biased news reporting and republicans up to their old tricks and our Dem's acting like they had ADD. I want to know where was Reid? Where was his guidance? I think they purposely did a piss poor job on purpose. We should have had the upper hand on this and we didn't act at all. Was it the way the Re pubs framed it all over abortion? We're we afraid of rocking the boat in an election year? This all stinks. And now that Kerry has decided to do what is right, he has to take all the heat. What about us- we the people- did we not even get honorable mention when they all decided to let the Republicans take this one without a fight.
Also, did anyone else find the stupid remark from Lindsey Graham strange? "We will clean your clocks". I get the impression we were being threatened and bullied. As you can tell, I am discussed at our leadership. We just sit around waiting for Bush to do something wrong then we try to capitalize on that mistake. Only trouble is the media always fixes it for Bush.

As for Obama, it would be nice if we had some way of getting the message out to the people. We would all like that. I want to know how he thinks we can accomplish this? The media sure isn't any help.
Biden, well after that stellar performance on the committee, where we learned more about him than we ever cared to know, he has a lot of nerve. Why wasn't he getting the message out on Alito on one of very frequent television appearances.
I'm sorry,this is a rant. We have all had to work our rear ends off because Biden,Reid and Obama didn't do a better job of getting our message out. Now we have to pressure a bunch of frighten senators to do what is right. I'm sorry, this stinks.
Now I will get back to contacting the many senators who are suppose to represent us, but seem to be more concerned about pleasing Republican voters. You know what, except for Kerry, I feel I have no one representing me at all.
