Maybe someone here can answer my Dean question
I'm trying to find out this and have been all night. Wasn't Dean himself a DLCer until he was no longer a governor?

1. Yes
The only reason Dean was "taken off" the DLC's list is because he is no longer an elected official. The DLC website does not list former officeholders, only current ones. After Dean ceased being governor, his name was taken from the website because he did not hold office. As far as I know, he never formally severed ties with the DLC, but began taking potshots at them in late 2003 in order to position himself as a leftist.

2. I thought so

I just wanted to make sure. I get so tired of the hypocriacy here. I want to make another post talking about the hypocriacy but I've already done one enough on Kerry vs Dean. Maybe some of us Kerrycrats need to remind others here on DU that Dean was DLC too. Do you have any proof of him being listed or anything like that? I tried googling but it's getting too late and I have to wake up early tomorrow for class. Thanks. Or maybe you can try if you want. And wasn't Gore a co-founder of the group? On the side note I do like Dean and I think he's perfect as party chair. Even my mother thinks so too. She isn't a fan of him for president but I think she really likes Kerry as well.

3. they already know
it doesn't. just like they don't care that Sherrod Brown has a near perfect record when it comes to helping the common people.

especially the ones who threaten to leave the party after every fucking vote. and yet they don't care where candidates stand on the issues .

also of note, Reid and Schumer are NOT dlc members.

5. Exactly, it is amazing how Emannuel is being attacked to
have offered Hackett to run as a Congressman, but Schumer and Reid are basically let off the hook.

6. I've seen some attacks on Schumer and Reid
but a little more on Emannuel.
