1. That's cool!

IMO, this port deal is one of the craziest yet of the entire Bush administration* (and that's saying A LOT!) It's simply outrageous. During the campaign, JK mentioned the necessity of strengthening port security in almost every single speech I heard him make. These bozos decide to do the exact opposite and basically turn our ports over to a foreign government, and an Arab one at that. Are they just plain stupid, do they not care, or do they have other, more sinister plans in mind? I think they may have jumped the shark on this one, because it doesn't seem like many folks, Democrats or Republicans, are liking this deal.

over the past week.

The WaPo has been using Technorati for a while. Ron and I try to make a point of linking to WaPo pieces whenever possible. Most Kerry press releases I get are linked to coordinating WaPo stories so that people who are reading about things like Bush speeches can see what Kerry said, if they check the "Who's Blogging."

This whole deal absolutely sucks by the way, which is why I have covered it as much as possible!
