I love Margaret Carlson
Bloomberg columnist.

She was on Tweety right now, sitting with Richard Wolfe.
They were talking about Bsh's current poll #s. And there was a little
Kerry bashing - Wolfe said that bsh's #s were low during the election, but he was up
against a bad candidate (asshole). Then Tweety said during the election people were asked
if your car broke down, which candidate would stop to help you. Bsh won that poll.

Then Margaret said "The difference is, yeah, bsh might have stopped, but if Kerry stopped, he would actually know how to change the tire. Bsh wouldn't have known what to do" (paraphrasing)

Woohoo - you go girl! Slap 'em where it hurts.

1. Oh snap
 That's a good one.

I refuse to watch Tweety ever ever again. Anybody who would compare Bush to Atticus Finch.... just no no no no no. I'd rather he compared Bush to Jesus, seriously.

Bush=Atticus Finch????

:nuke:

6. On Friday
That's it for me. Atticus is my hero above all heroes. Only JK comes close to filling the shoes of Atticus Finch. For Tweety to say this, no, I will never watch that show again and have actually switched back to CNN for my daily dose of bullshit.

HAYES: You know what -- you know what I think is particularly interesting about this? If you go back and -- you remember to Bush's State of the Union? He had this whole passage about not returning to isolationism and to not being protective --

MATTHEWS: Yeah, that's new this year.

HAYES: -- and I thought -- yeah, and, you know, when I heard the State of the Union, my initial reaction to that was, who the heck is this guy talking about? It was out of the blue. It didn't --

MATTHEWS: Yes, who are these straw men?

HAYES: And it now looks as though he might have been right. I mean, he's got --

MATTHEWS: He's talking about Peter King . He's talking about all these guys.

HAYES: No, or Sue Myrick from North Carolina who sent this, you know, two-sentence letter to the president a couple of days ago saying not only no, Mr. President, but hell no. You know, maybe he was actually right and sort of in front of the curve on that.

MATTHEWS: Well, he looks like he's a wise man now and a man of restraint, almost Atticus Finch. You know, almost the guy against the mob outside this -- the police station.

14. ugh--that is unbelieveable!!
I have given up Tweety, too. I hadn't watched him for about a year, not since the election, but then did when JK was on last fall. Watched for a few more weeks--but he's just not worth the pain!

He'll say ANYTHING to lick at *'s boots. UGHHH.

3. LOL!
Tweety is such as ass, ask that question now. In 2004, half the public was programmed by propaganda.

4. Listen to this one - I almost forgot
Kay Bailey Hutchinson was on (she makes me want to puke)

Tweety asked her why she wasn't running for President in 2008.
It took her by complete surprise - me too!
Then he said that he's betting that she will be chosen for the
running mate. And he has her new book on his coffee table.

Tweety is on before Keith.. Sometimes I enjoy his show, and then there
are days like today....

7. Gee but wouldn't knowing how to change a tire - make him a regular guy.
What shocks me is that that poll was AFTER people knew that Kerry risked his life to safe someone. Not to mention that he rescued a hamster. How could someone who rescued a hamster, no stop to help out (assuming he reasonably could)?

8. You know, Tweety pisses me off. I think I send him an e-mail telling
giving him my impression of the election and the job Kerry did.

This response seems to me their matra for Bush's pathetic presidency. I have heard similar responses from other Repubs- similar to, oh well, Kerry wouldn't have been any better. I have pointed out to a couple of these jerks that Kerry warned us about these developments and he had a real plan.

10. Tee hee. Smack!
Funny, I think if Bush stopped, I'd tell him to just go ahead on, AAA is on its way, thanks anyway. Whether or not I actually had AAA or anything else. He just isn't the kind of guy I'd want stopping to "help" me anyway.

(Okay being real....I wouldn't mind at all if the Secret Service dudes helped me out with it. But yeah, like that would happen...what a silly frickin' "poll" question.)

11. Well, I, for one, know who I would rather have a friggin beer with
and not just because they were paying. (I'm not that easy.) Heck, I would even pay. Ah, you know what I mean. Sigh! If I ever had to have an O'Douls with That Friggin Idiot, I would probably have to bring along a book or something to occupy both my time and mind. (Okay, maybe not a whole book but at least a New Yorker issue or a something.)

Can yo even imagine being on the side of the road, not having a cell phone and trying to figure out how to get the tire changed cuz the mechanic who last rotated the tires put the lug nuts back in so tight that you can't budge them with the tool kit in the trunk. Damn. A car pulls over, and you think, great, a cell phone to call AAA with. Then you see it is * and your heart sinks.

12. But if you did have a phone
he would probably already know where you are, so he could send the nice NSA guys to help you.
And if you didn't and he stopped with his, he might be some help if he could figure out the number to call for 911.
OTOH, he probably wouldn't be much help in either case.

I would have to restrain myself. Heck Bush probably wouldn't even stop! At least we know Kerry will help you out. He has saved two people personally anyways.

15. Tweety is a vile whore, and would Katrina victims agree ?
i wonder if the victims of hurricane Katrina would agree with the poll about which candidate would stop to help if your car broke down.

and the fact that the fat head bitch Tweety can still bring that up as legitimate considering everything that happened shows what a disgusting fuckwad he is.

i really hate these whores. Tweety probably smell's like the Chimp's shit.
