for those who saw and remember it's posts , it's not surprise.

especially in the Kerry threads.

he started a thread attacking Kerry for criticizing Bush while skiing in Switzerland. typical right wing talking point. that was just one of the more recent though. he goes back even before the elections.

He was always warning about being cautious when the very biggest stories were breaking. Then there were his constant gun posts. Not too surprising at all, relieving actually.

4. Who was the guy who posted about guns in here?
Was that the same guy or somebody else? That guy seemed pretty pro-Kerry, except on guns.

I don't venture often into regular DU (The last time I did there were conspiracy threads that * had blown up the shrine in Iraq, leading me to have to defend the administration, although I did it in an insulting way :)) What kind of posts did this guy make? Just curious.

6. No, not at all.
That was a very reasoned discussion and that poster was only too happy to talk about his knowledge of the issues and was not a disrupter. (Disrupters are intent on moving the discussion onto the turf they know and only that turf. It's all they can discuss. They don't want open sharing of information or for people to acknowledge different areas of expertise and allow learning to occur. That threatens them.)

BenBurch is a great guy and not a disrupter at all.

7. Okay, good. Phew. I liked that guy but I couldn't remember
what his name was, and when Sandnsea mentioned that troll writing about guns, I was worried. Thanks for the clarification.

11. I found your posts very informative, but yours were the only ones
I knew about guns, so I was confused for a few minutes. Glad to hear you are you and not that other guy. I threw one of your facts at my husband last night (that most gun owners are not hunters). By the way there was an Economist op-ed that talked about how hunting is becoming more and more elitist (it was about Cheney and the shooting), showing this trend of owning guns but not hunting will increase.

Not only do they troll, but then other conservatives quote them as examples of DUmmies. For example, there's Conservative Underground, where the people are not capable of any original thoughts of thier own. Most of the board is devoted to making fun of DU posts. Many of them are likely moles to begin with--not that there aren't really some off the wall posts by members to make fun of.

14. i think he was actually banned for a while once
he was probably trying to avoid being tombstoned again which is why he wasn't as obvious.

but you can mostly figure him out because he would often make posts asking why Dems weren't fighting. but anytime someone did something he would start with the "we have to be careful" stuff. the fact most of his criticisms were right wing talking points indicated he was a troll also.
