Dear Kerrycrats,
Vektor is in a very silly mood today. Sometimes, this happens when she has had no sleep. She begins referring to herself in the third person, and logs onto DU to squee over pictures of John Kerry without reading the articles first. During these times of overwhelm and sleep deprivation, she also wanders into The Lounge and makes fun of freepers and sneaks slang words for the genitalia into unrelated posts. When through, she travels to the Clark Supporters' group and posts pics of the General in his bathing suit.

During these fits of sleep deprivation, she often overuses the exclamation point in her communications, and is prone to RW bouts of "all caps typing."

Vektor really does have her wonky moments, but due to an already large amount of stress in her life, she sometimes waters down the wonk with a little sophomoric humor, because all work and no play makes Vektor a dull Kerrycrat. The great thing is though, she thankfully knows when to quit. So...I'm off to work to torture my Republican co-workers with unrelenting mentions of the Good Senator's "RANKING MEMBER."

Vektor apologizes for any discomfort, pelvic or otherwise, that this occasional pea-brainedness may cause other DUers.

I'll be back once I have regained my composure.

Daftly yours,

Vektor

P.S. Sometimes, when Vektor feels REALLY silly....

*LOVER'S HAIKU* happens:

exhaustion sets in
vektor dreams of kerry beef
mmmmm sweet dreams, Sir Loin

oh, ranking member
congressional hunk o' stud
pelvic implosion

we shared a beer once
i think i caught his microbe
hottest cold ever

1. You KNOW I love your zaniness
:D

I've been too exhausted of late to be anything other than vaguely snarky, however. Between school midterms and GD idiocy, I need some craziness in my life.

BTW: "hottest cold ever"?

2. I love you just the way you are!
Ah, I'm hearing the music love, hearing the music.

Yeah, I got some of that 'hot beef and cold potatoes' weekends in me too! (No, I am not translating Tay-speak tonight. I am just not in the mood. Make of it what you will.)

I really need to celebrate something. And this place (DU) needs are good airing out. This week has been like being trapped inside a locked room with the members of the 'I love beans and fiber' group. For Gawd's sake someone open a window, I can't breathe.

We need a full-on silly thing-a-ma-jig to take our minds off how much everyone else sucks. (We don't suck, the JK people are suckproof people, but everyone else, feh!)

So, how do we not let the friggin bastids of the world get us down anyway?

3. This helps me.

I think I'll keep a copy under my bed with the tuna and powdered milk.

For emergencies, dontcha know.

You know, I missed the whole tuna under the bed thing this week. How weird is that, anyway? And what, then, is to be found in my kitchen cabinets?

25. I don't understand the tuna and milk thing either.
Edited on Thu Mar-16-06 10:37 PM by Island Blue
First of all :puke: and secondly, why under the bed? Why not in the underground bunker that I built in 1999 to hide in when the clock stuck midnight on December 31st. Dammit we were told the world was supposed to come to an end then, but did it? NOOOOOO. Make up your mind people - underground bunker, duck tape or tuna and milk - I'm running out of space to dig and places to put things!

8. Awwwwww.
OK. That's a cute bunny.

The pic of JK at the WH is cuter, though. My nephew used to have that same look when he did something either really, really good or really, really bad. Sadly, he's outgrown it. Aparently, the Senator has not.

What else ya got?
