Anyone want to help out on a Kerry - LIV thread at dkos?

PFAG is using Line Item Veto to bash Kerry. Won't answer for what Gore's position is though, heh.

1. I posted. I get tired of the crowd that has an issue with everything
Kerry does. I have been in this mood all week where I get short with anyone who has anything to say negative about Kerry. I just want to tell them all to flake off. I wonder if they didn' t consider him a potential threat, if they would be so harsh on him?

2. I saw that.
To be fair, this is a controversial position, and the diarist as a right to her opinion. HOWEVER, as I responded to her reply to you, we see a definite pattern here.

I would suspect that she wouldn't have felt motivated to post on LIV except she saw it as a chance to bash Kerry. That is my opinion only, however.

5. Well, I was only stating what I felt was a fair position on this issue.
It was obvious that the poster was out to bash Kerry. It wasn't a reasonable post at all. It was done to attack Kerry and promote Gore. I have no idea what position Gore would take on this issue and to tell you the truth, I don't care. Kerry ran on this and he is making good on his promise. You know, no politician is 100% with the electorate on all positions all the time. these people find anything and everything to pick Kerry apart with.

4. I don't have a Kos account
But Kerry's own statement shows why it is not a bad idea.

The other thing is that someone can't say it is a good thing for Clinton to have, but we don't want Republicans to have. Also, it seems that the Democrats get things in the bills only if what they are asking for is such a no-brainer that they often go to voice votes to include them. Then they have to survive reconciliation - where some Kerry Small Business stuff that had as many as 90 votes - have been pulled out. Things that survive, are likely to be very hard to vote against.

If Bush ignored the brige to nowhere and tons of Republican pork and vetoed popular Democratic issues, it would likely be defeated for the same reason they passed to begin with.

6. How do I do that. I post at KOS since Kerry made an appearance,
but I don't know how to navigate there.

7. They recently changed the software.
Now you have to have the comment expanded (there is a "Expand" button under the story that expands all, I think) and then you click the radio button just to the left of "Recommend".

But never mind with the ones PFAG "troll" rated - they won't register unless two or more people rate them, and then if they're hidden a TU will probably uprate them, because neither comment is truly deserving of a troll rating. (Although the case could be made for one, and that's ok, cuz I did that intentionally).

9. Person accused me of "not having the guts" to
make up my own mind about LIV - which is total b.s., baseless and ad hominem for them to claim. So I told them what I thought they should do about that idea.

I usually restrain myself but PFAG just annoys the hell out of me. Sad, too, because I actually like Al Gore.

10. I have nothing against Gore either, just don't promote your guy
by being unfair to Kerry.
