1. Do people really care what's important anymore?
I realize the war was a mistake but the issue now isn't whether who supported the war and who didn't, what ought to be focused on is how we can fix the problems Iraq. The guy who wrote this site wants a Green-Libertarian alliance in 2008 I see, yeah thats a great idea, the Greens are too isolationist on foreign issues for me and the Libertarians are way wrong on the economy and some social issues. I'd rather have the war fixed under someone who had some intial support for it than someone who opposed it but can't handle the situation.

3. Kerry never supported this war
It's not even over who supported it and did't, Kerry was opposed to going to war. This site also claims Kerry supports Bush's policies there which is untrue.

It is a clear attempt by a third party to pick up support by obscuring the significant differences between Democrats and Republicans on the war.

6. Exactly, Kerry DIDN'T support the war
This website is just more of the same tired old bullshit from people who badly suffer from cranial-rectal inversions.

2. That might actually be really interesting
but it isn't a course of action with a clear goal in mind. What's their mission? Picket Kerry's Office and Hope Maybe a Green or Libertarian Wins the 2008 Election?

Personally, I don't find this upsetting as Kerry-bashing; I find it upsetting because it's totally lame.

7. So they are the other sponsor of the Friday pickets in Boston
And they were at the PTSD forum at Harvard. They join with the Military Families Speak Out folks, although the MFSO people are far more sane.

Interesting. They seem to come from the 'everyone who opposes our views are evil corporatist war-mongerers' school of political discourse. It's not valid.

So, that's who stood up in the PTSD meeting and challenged the Senator. It would have been very interesting to have heard his response. Too bad. (Ahm, Sen. Kerry is rather good at debate. I don't know if you've had a chance to see him do this, but he really is quite nimble on his feet at these mental challenge, think on your feet type of events.)

8. Mass, why are you posting this here?
We can get all the Kerry bashing I need on GD? Is this like the extra special, deluxe, super depressing edition of the blog or are you mad at us?

9. Not mad. It was an alert and I thought we could not post the GD link.
But I am kind of depressed, though politic is not the main reason (fighting with my son's school), which may explain why I am really grumpy.

10. Honey, don't take it out on us!

We are here to help you, buck you up, get you through difficult times and celebrate all wondrous things pertaining to our Senator.

I used to know this guy who when he got the blues kind of did all these things that deepened his feelings of being down. He would put on Neil Young (not a rollicking good times singer IMHO) and read Harlan Ellison stories. (A SF writer. Hmmm, how to describe Harlan, I know, his lightest, frothiest and happiest story was about a guy who in the end gets a labotomy. Good times, my friend, good times.)

Geez, lighten up. What's up with the school? Maybe some of us have been there or can help or are more than willing to stand up naked during a full moon and scream "FUCK" at all the injustice in the world in your name, if you only ask. (Though in my case, I wouldn't recommend it. Very bad visuals. Maybe I could get my sister to do it.)

I read websites like the one listed and remember the extreme words of wisdom my Grandmother taught me, "Honey, Fuck 'em if they can't take a joke."

Now, what is your f'ing problem? Out with it woman. Maybe we can help.

17. The gauntlet has been thrown down!
The 'Ladies of Boston' (and I use that term loosely) will not fail to pick this up. AHm, btw, the last time I saw the Senator, I was somewhat, ahm, inadvertently, ahm, accidentally, rather, ahm, untoward in the absolute placement of hands. I certainly cannot promise that will happen again. (It's simply bad form the second time around.)

It wasn't rock star reception type stuff, but it did trigger my latent catholic guilt and shame and sense that I am simply destined to go to hell and sit in the 'dumb people whom you can't really take anywhere socially' corner forever.
