Interesting WaPo article on impeachment.
This article takes opinions from people in working-class Holyoke, Massachusetts.

"Here in Massachusetts and Vermont, though, in the back roads and on the streets of Holyoke and Springfield, the discontent with Bush is palpable. These are states that, per capita, have sent disproportionate numbers of soldiers to Iraq. Many in these middle- and working-class towns are not pleased that so many friends and cousins are coming back wounded or dead.

"He picks and chooses his information and can't admit it's erroneous, and he annoys me," said Colleen Kucinski, walking Aleks, 5, and Gregory, 2, home.

Would she support impeachment? Kucinski wags her head "yes" before the question is finished. "Without a doubt. This is far more serious than Clinton and Monica. This is about life and death. We're fighting a war on his say-so and it was all wrong."

According to the latest SurveyUSA, Bush has the lowest approval rating in Massachusets. His approval rating is 28% and 71% disapprove.

We hates 'em. The lying son of a bitch.

1. My daughter asked about impeachment
I use her as a barometer for what is seeping through to the masses. I swear, if anybody ever needs a tester for a mass market product, she's your guinea pig. Anyway, she wanted me to explain the current situation in Iraq, in 1 minute or less please, criminy. Then she said, well all the polls show everybody hates him, so why can't we just impeach him. Well my my, Miss Bliss has heard the impeachment call. Hmmm.

She did ask for some good online news sources, so that's something. I sent her to CSMonitor, they seem to be thorough and fairly objective. Painful to tell my own child that there aren't any fair news sources. And people wonder why the voters have tuned out.

2. As Holyoke goes...
Not a bastion of liberality, by any means. The truth is seeping in.

3. Favorite topic
What's interesting is that disdain for Bush is on the rise across the country, even the GOP are hiding from him, but the hate Dem crowd and the media continue try to push the "Dems have to do something beside criticize Bush" meme. Positioning as anti-Bush is exactly the thing to do now. It works. DeWine, for example, is not only distancing himself from Bush, but also trying to present himself as an independent, trying to move away from the scandal-plagued GOP. Democrats are on point with the criticism and they should link the Republicans to Bush's failure.
