Kerry to be on MTP, Late Edition this Sunday.

NBC's "Meet the Press" - Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass.; Reps. Henry Bonilla, R-Texas, Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill., and J.D. Hayworth, R-Ariz.

CNN's "Late Edition" - Kerry; Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz.; U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Zalmay Khalilzad; retired Gen. Anthony Zinni.

Looks like MTP might focus more on immigration while Late Edition focuses on Iraq. (That's my guess anyway by looking at the other guests scheduled for those shows.)

3. I won't be able to catch either one, as I am heading in town

that day to bop around. (And, ahm, buy some Red Sox stuff. I am woefully short of Red Sox clothing. Well, I am. Really. Nothing I own saysn '2006' on it.)

I can tape MTP. I will try for the other, but I thnk the channel changers here will get me. I will have to transcript.

Is the Senator 'touring' next week? (I hope he gets some down time, he earned it.)

5. He's touring

I know he's due here in L.A. on Monday morning for 3 press avails on immigration. I'll be following JK and THK (so excited THK! too) around doing the press thingy. After L.A. he's headed to San Diego and then not sure where after.

I heard last night from one of my bloggers that they are scheduled for a fundraiser in Seattle on Tuesday for Cantwell.

My digital camara has about had it, so I am going to get a new camera this weekend. I will make sure I mention the DU bloggers! It's a whirlwind sort of mini tour thing, of the Cong. district with Rep. Becerra.

8. I'll probably miss both too

I am going to a METS game. My husband loves baseball and I haven't gone to a game in about 15 years so I can't really complain. MTP repeats in the evening (I think), so maybe I'll get my daughter to tape it.

10. OMG, I loved this so much.

He was GREAT. Even within the confines of Russert's sub-par "interviewing" format, filled with cheap shots, right-wing bias and passive aggression, Kerry persevered. That's the most fun I've had watching any screen with Kerry on it since the presidential debates. LOVED it.

I thought he did great on MTP, even with Russert asking some of the same old lame questions.
