Borrowed from Amaryllis on Greatest page:

Bobby Kennedy JR. on '04 election theft in feature Rolling Stone article

Edited on Wed May-31-06 04:34 PM by Amaryllis
EXCLUSIVE: BOBBY KENNEDY JR. TO QUESTION 2004 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IN MAJOR ROLLING STONE FEATURE ARTICLE!
Says 'Evidence Shows High-Level Republicans Suceeded in Scheme to Steal Election in Ohio'!
Mag to Hit Stands Friday, Internet on Thursday, Publicity Push to Accompany

A damning and detailed feature article, written by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., for Rolling Stone, documenting evidence of the theft of the 2004 Presidential Election is set to hit newstands this Friday, The BRAD BLOG can now confirm. The online version of the article will be posted tomorrow (Thursday) morning.

The article, which has been several months in development, will contend that a concerted effort was undertaken by high-level Republican officials to steal the Election in Ohio -- and thus the country -- in 2004!

Kennedy told The BRAD BLOG this morning that "the best evidence says the Republicans succeeded" in their plan.

He writes in the article, and confirmed to us today, that evidence shows Ohio Sec. of State J. Kenneth Blackwell was "certainly in on" the scheme, and "there are indications that the effort went all the way up to the White House." ...

...DEVELOPING VERY HARD...MORE DETAILS BELOW...AND MORE SHORTLY...

2. Should be a very interesting
article.

In Brad's post thus far he says that the story will include:

We'll have more details and information shortly from the story which includes quotes from Democrats such as Howard Dean and John Kerry, as well as pollster Lou Harris who also questions the validity of the 2004 Presidential Election in Ohio according to the article...

3. I hope he gets to the meat
He's done a pretty phenomenal job making the case against corporate polluters, I hope he brings that same common sense approach to election fraud. I will be sadly disappointed if we get another run-down of exit polls and statistics because I think there is better evidence available. I will be on pins and needles waiting for this!!

And it's good timing--ears are opening, finally.

6. More quotes
from the article up now on Brad Blog.

John Kerry: "Can I draw a conclusion that they played tough games and clearly had intent to reduce the level of our vote? Yes, absolutely. Can I tell you to a certainty that it made the difference in the election? I can't. There's no way for me to do that. If I could have done that, then obviously I would have found some legal recourse."

10. No, it's not just you.
The yellow on green is just not easy on the eyes IMO. Also, flashing blue lights should really only be used on cop cars or in K-Mart. Very distracting.

11. Definitely not just you.
I find it really difficult to read, as well.

There's also an edge of hysteria that makes me a little crazy, even though he has a lot of what seem like pretty well-sourced stories.

12. Actually, I sent him an email (pm) saying it was hard on the eyes
and he was quite nice about it. Said he was hoping to fix that for those of us. I guess he never got around to it.

JK's interview with Stephanie Miller, just 2 weeks ago.

14. You know,
I've always had the feeling that this scandal is going to blow wide open like all the others: suddenly after a billion hints. Add to the drip today's news about Noe's guilty plea to funneling money illegally into the Bush campaign.

15. Conyers weigh in and the plot thickens!

I have learned from BradBlog that Robert Kennedy Jr. has a story in Rolling Stone that he is writing on Diebold and voting machines that will publish online tomorrow and in print form on Friday. I spoke with him awhile back as he was getting started in his investigation. He has been at this for several months and I am looking forward to what he has uncovered.
