Off Topic - Please welcome the country's newest Liberal!
My nephew Phoenix, born today at 3:35 p.m! Mom, dad and baby are all doing well. (Although mom was still a little bit groggy when these were taken. :))

11. Thank you all for indulging me!
It will be fascinating to see what he looks like as he grows up - my SIL is Thai, but at the moment, other than the black hair hidden under his stylin' cap, he looks very Anglo.

I have two nieces who I rarely get to see since they live half a continent away, so I'm looking forward to spoiling this little guy who will be just be 20 minutes down the road!

And notice the long fingers like someone else we all know that we did a whole "hands thread on" What did Pheonix weigh, do you know? You're lucky he's going to be so near that he can really get to know his wonderful Auntie IB !! I'm going "crazy nuts" in anticipation of Aidan, any time now. 13. He weighed 7 lbs 3 oz.
He arrived 10 days early (note to Phoenix - Good Democrats should always arrive fashionably late:).) This is their first and they are beside themselves with happiness! Looking forward to seeing your photos when Aidan arrives!
