Former NY fundie attacks Kerry from Canada now

I hate to give this man hits on his blog...wwwcanadafreepress.com/2006/burtis080206.htm
John Kerry--Beyond the limits of botox
By John Burtis

Wednesday, August 2, 2006

There are growing concerns about the health and appearance of John Kerry, one of the Democratic Party’s premier politruks and the former Presidential standard bearer.

It was recently reported on Free Republic by `pabianice' that "he looked terrible" in a recent appearance on Fox News, with fears that he was "suffering from some illness that has been kept secret."

First of all Mr. Kerry has been a busy lad, jet-setting back and forth between Washington D.C. and his beloved Boston, making speeches as recently as Monday, where he opined for the need for cradle-to-grave-John Kerry-care.

This great health care bonanza is designed to rid America of the unhealthy and the uninsured by government fiat, to pull himself ahead of Hillary in the lengthy healthcare derby by the length of a patrician nose, and to insure his enshrinement in the halls of Democratic heroes, where he can rub elbows and a growing girth with FDR and Senor Fidel Castro--champions of centrally controlled medicine.

My response:

I just read your article about John Kerry. Thanks for the satire. I haven't lauged so hard since George W. Bush said, "Let OBGYN's practice their...thier LOVE on women!"

Maybe we can get Bush some Botox too. Since he's looking like the pudgy dough boy nowadays.

Thanks again!

With regards,

1. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Edited on Wed Aug-02-06 05:36 PM by WildEyedLiberal
I just SAW him on Monday and he looks as GREAT as ever. Tan, fit, bright-eyed, beautiful smile, sexy as ever - this asshole wishes he was in HALF the shape Kerry was in. Can his ass ride 111 miles on a bicycle without needing a fucking ventilator?? Doubt it!

Thanks for the fucking PROOF that these people do NOT live in the real world.

2. This is crazy
" looked terrible" in a recent appearance on Fox News, with fears that he was "suffering from some illness that has been kept secret."

So how many people suffering from an illness that makes them "look terrible", g on 100 plus bike rides for charity?? As to the "growing girth", Kerry has more problems with keeping weight on than off.

i also thought he looked great in the Iowa and the Boston pictures. (the Boston one with Vanessa was great - he looked happy, proud and healthy.)

6. I love it. Here's mine.
Sorry, Mr. Burtis
I've seen the Senator recently, and he looks like a million bucks. His schedule may be rigorous, but he'll still find time to ride the 111 mile Pan-Mass this Saturday. I'm guessing he'll finish in under seven hours. Pretty aggressive guess, I know, but I hear he's done the ride nonstop his last two times out.
What's your best time?
Thanks, by the way, for posting your photo with this article. I needed a good laugh.

For your viewing displeasure...
Mr Burtis.

17. Yeah I can tell Mr. Burtis is a real hit with the lady walruses
:D
Seriously seems like the people who judge people's looks the most are often the ones that you would too. Kind of why I laugh at the guy who wears the no fat chicks shirt.

18. I didn't go to the link - so didn't see the picture
From the head alone, it is clear this guy should not have spoken of the Senator's expanding girth - unnoticable as it is to the rest of us. He, not the Senator, likely needs to lose weight.

21. This looks like the nasty man that was at the Dissent speech in Boston.
This guy actually lives in NH and he sure looks like the guy who approached me after JK's speech in April.

He just walked up to me as we were all filtering out of the hall and made a nasty comment about John Kerry being the guy who raises his finger up to see which way the wind is blowing. I'm sure it was this guy because I got a real good look him while I was glaring daggers at the man. There aren't too many faces like that. And he's not just portly, he's short.

4. Just looked at the Fox tape, and
the Senator's "illness" appears to be an acute case of 5 o'clock shadow. Maybe not the best look for an interview conducted in his office, but certainly nothing serious.

The Canadian Free Press is worse than American freepers. Aren't these the guys who like to refer to THK as Kofi Annan's girlfriend? I can't even imagine they want to be taken seriously.

5. 5 o'clock shadow makes sense - he had a busy day
It wasn't there in the morning pictures.

You wonder if the THK reference is to knock Kerry, be anti-UN, or racist - or all 3. It seems an insult to all 3 reputable people.

10. He's not really in Canada.
New Hampshire, I think. He's a total ass who seems obsessed with Sen Kerry.
How odd he's concerned with the Senator's health, considering Mr. Burtis looks as though his most recent meal was a plate of cholesterol.

13. I was pretty sure he wasn't.
Does anyone know/care why he writes for them?

Yeah, most of what he says cracks me up - it's such a ridiculous fixation.

11. He looked great to me on Monday
He was in fine form and full of energy. I think writer in Canada is full of it and should go see an eye doctor pronto.

I think this has, in many ways, been a diffult year for Kerry. I think he looks better than he has since 2002. I think his recent renewed energy to work on behalf of causes he believes in has been a boost to his health.

Geez, he looked fine to me, up close and in person. (I did see him from about 6 feet away. He looked fine.) I kind of like it when he puts a couple of pounds on, he is thin as a rule and the few pounds do him good.

12. ProSense just posted pics of him from today.
It was at a funeral, so sad, obviously. But Sen Kerry looks in perfect health.
Mr Burtis is a moron. And he doesn't look at all well. Wonder if we should be concerned?

Nah.

19. This is so stupid! This reads like tabloid trash and contains about
as much truth.
Actually, if anything looked bad on Monday on Fox News, it was the lighting-not Kerry.

I never realized men looked at other men and sized them up.

22. Have we received confirmation of Sen Kerry's time
in the Pan-Mass? I need to send Mr. Burtis another e-mail.
Was it really 5:45:?? That would be awesome.
I wonder if our friend up north could ride it in 5 3/4 DAYS? I'm guessing no.

23. Re your concern for Sen Kerry's health
Well Mr. Burtis, I guess I was wrong. It seems Sen Kerry is not only well enough to ride the Pan-Mass in under seven hours, he's well enough to ride it in 5:47.
He's in better shape than I thought.
I know you've been worried about the Senator, so I thought I'd just drop you a line and let you know he seems to be fine.
What was your time?

John Kerry sent an e-mail Thursday to some 3 million people asking for support of his ride in the Pan-Mass Challenge, and by yesterday the senator had raised more than $50,000. He finished his 111-mile ride on Saturday in 5 hours and 47 minutes.
