Post 'em if you've got 'em: Inspirational Music
Lately what spiritual comfort I've found has come in music. The following song, "The Canticle of the Turning," is a particular favorite. Yes, the melody ought to be familiar; it's "The Star of the County Down." Vaughan Williams used it as well.

What about the rest of you? Have at it.

1. Here's something that creates inspirational music

This is the organ at St. Raphael's in Dubuque. With a skilled musician at the console this creates very inspirational music.

For those of you, like me, not too smart at latin translation and unfamiliar with it:

The bread of angels becomes the bread of man;
This bread of heaven does away with symbols.
What a marvel! The poor, the servant and the humble
May feed on their Lord.

4. One time, at Mass, while everyone
was going to communion, a gifted member of the parish got up and sang Ava Maria with the pianist accompanying. It was so beautiful and simple, you could've heard a pin drop--I marveled at how all were seemingly spellbound. Brought tears to my eyes and, judging by all the eye-dabbing going on around me, I wasn't alone.
