A side question about the situation in Haiti: Last Sunday I saw several stories about Haitians

attending Mass in the open air outside collapsed churches. The tone seemed to be amazement that anyone would be that happy about church, let alone after a disaster. Were the reporters that flabbergasted to see so many people taking church seriously (but with joy) or was it just a different story from the previous week?
